Ninjago Random stuff!!!

Short: Misunderstanding Part 2

The rest of the team has sad looks. I say, "Well, I'm gonna look for him. And beg him to come back." Lloyd then says, "I'll come too." Frak and Wyld say, "Same here!" And then Nya, Kai, Pix, Cole, Zane... All of them. Even Riyu bounces in determination. I grin, and we start off, following the direction of Arin's footsteps.

Arin POV

I'm in the jungle now. Nobody wants me. I know that. Maybe I should find the guy with the bird suit and the mechanical wings. He's annoying though. I don't know what to do. 

Suddenly, I trip and fall. I land in the mud, soaking my hoodie in the wet dirt. I feel droplets on me and look up, it's raining. Heavily now. Now drenched in water, I sigh and just sit there. I feel hopeless. Why should I go back? I'm gonna live life on my own, many people do that. 

Soon, I hear footsteps behind me. I turn and gasp, but not in a happy way. I see Sora and the ninja there. I stand up. 

No one POV

Arin stands there, with an angry look on his face. "What do you want?" He mumbles. Sora, saddened, said, "Arin, come back. I've missed you." The other ninja nod in agreement. Arin glares. 

"Why do you miss me? Face it, I'm useless. I've heard you. Can't even protect my parents. Who would want me anyway..." 

Lloyd gasps. "Arin, what did you say?"

"Who would want me anyway?"

"No not that, the thing before. You said can't even protect your parents. What does that mean?" Lloyd asks. 

Arin's eyes fill with tears. He sniffs, and in the rain, it makes it look like he's crying alot. He says, "Why do you care?" 

Sora, concerned, says, "Arin, you know we care. We're friends, remember? Together forever? Remember the promise?"

Arin sobs now, and Sora runs to support him. Kai and Nya look on, concerned. Frak, Zane, Pixal, Cole and Wyld feel saddened. Lloyd pats Riyu's head as they look. 

Arin sobs, "Sora, I-I'm sorry. I-I k-know that w-we made a-a promise, and I-I ended up b-breaking it... M-my parents, they're d-dead..." Sora, horrified, gasps. The rest have similar expressions. Frak walks forward, saying, "Arin, are you okay? You look kinda pale..." 

True enough, Arin looks paler than usual. Sora says, "Arin, you feel cold. Are you sick?" Arin replies, "I-I'm f-fine..." Suddenly he faints. Sora's eyes widen and she yells, "Quick! Get him to the monastery!"

Sora POV

I watched Zane and Pixal hook Arin up to an IV. His breathing is normal now, but he still feels cold, and he hasn't woken up yet. I place his hand in between mine. Wyldfyre is at my right, while Frak is opposite us on the other side. Frak looks up, "Mister Zane, what's Arin's condition?" Zane replies, "It turns out he is fine. Arin was just in the heavy rain for too long. He got sick, and due to the overwhelming response he gave to Sora, he fainted." I gasp.

"It's my fault... I shouldn't have lied to him. He wouldn't be like this..." I cry. Wyldfyre puts an arm on my shoulder. "Sora, it's not your fault." Frak adds, "Yeah, Arin's strong. He'll make it." I watch as the two of them and Zane and Pixal leave the room. I sigh, and say,

"Hey Arin. I know it's been awhile since we last saw each other. I just wanna say, I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't have lied to you, I should have believed in you. But my silly self just had to do it. Besides, the stuff you heard from the Monastery was all a misunderstanding. We were talking about somebody else, silly. So if you hear me, know that I'm sorry. I hope you get well soon."

I get ready to leave, but just as I want to remove my hand, I feel a squeeze. I smile. Arin heard me after all.
