Chapter 16

Chase's POV

"Well this is a surprise." Chris said smirking leaning against his car. I saw his Dad get out of the passenger side, give me a quick wave before heading into the mansion. Even when Chris and I dated he was never a big talker.

"What are you doing here Chris?" I asked lacing Hunter and mine's hands together to attempt to calm him down

"Well your Dad is still very good friends with my Dad and asked him to be in the wedding. Your Dad asked if I wanted to tag along and I wouldn't miss spending a week with my favorite girl and friends. Who is this big guy?" Chris asked smugly

"This is Hunter he is my-" but Hunter cut me off

"I am her boyfriend." he said confidently wrapping his arm around my shoulders

"OO wow you are dating again? I didn't know that." Chris said sort of shocked

"I didn't know you were keeping tabs on me." I said annoyed

"I stopped doing that a long time ago sweetheart. But I can see I hit a nerve with big guy here and I also interrupted a moment you guys were having so I am just going to get our bags and go inside. See you in there." he said smirking at us before walking inside

"Okay I know this seems bad but we can make the best out of it right?" I asked looking up at Hunter's pissed off expression

"How would you like me to do that Chaz? He is your ex boyfriend that you dated for over a year. You just met me. Plus me knowing how he treated you makes me want to beat the shit out of him." Hunter said annoyed 

"We can just ignore him! Pretend like he isn't even here. Please for me? He is going to be a total jackass just to get under your skin. I have seen him do it before. Please no fights. I just want my Dad and Katherine to have a good rest of the week." I said to him. He sighed and wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck. He placed his forehead on mine.

"Fine but only for you. If he tries anything with you though than the promise will most likely get broken." he said and I smiled and pecked his lips. We kissed for a little more before deciding on going inside.

"So boyfriend huh?" I asked lightly shoving him

"Yeah about that uhhh." he said nervously scratching at the back of his neck

"Well if you are my boyfriend I guess I am your girlfriend than." I said winking at him

If I had to describe Chris I would say he closely resembles Liam Hemsworth just a little bit smaller. Oh and he speaks out of his ass and all my friends hate him. Lets just say the feeling since last night has been very hostile because of Chris showing up.

Today I threw on denim, ripped capris jeans, white converse, a grey sleeveless belly top with a navy blue and white plaid top that I rolled the sleeves up and left unbuttoned. I curled my hair into loose curls and parted it to the side. I applied the usual light makeup I have on. I walked downstairs but could not find anybody. I walked into the kitchen and of course Chris was there.

"I'd ask how you are but I don't really care." I said making him smugly turn around

"Ouch that hurts." he said clutching his chest

"Where is everybody?" I asked making myself breakfast

"Your Dad took them all out to the grocery store with him. Katherine is in the study though. And your Mom and Hunter's mom went for a walk." he explained shrugging

"Well I don't feel like spending anymore time with you than I have too so I am just going to go now." I said grabbing my food

"You know this isn't the right way to treat your guest." he said
