Chapter 10

Chase's POV

I woke up to my body being completely sore and a raging headache. I looked at my alarm clock to see that it was 11:00 AM. How the fuck did I get into my bad last night? And how did Chelsea and Avery end up next to me? I asked myself. I shrugged and got up and went into my bathroom and took a quick shower and threw comfy clothes on. I didn't bother putting any makeup on and threw my hair up into a messy bun. I brushed my teeth as well.

"Morning party animal. How you feeling today?" Avery asked me laughing when I came out of the bathroom

"Like shit. How about you guys?" I asked 

"The feeling is mutual." Chelsea said groaning

"Well I am hungry so I will meet you guys downstairs." I said walking out the door and down the steps.

Holy Shit! My house is absolutely trashed. There are red solo cups everywhere, food had been left out, empty beer cans and liquor bottles are thrown all over the house. And to make it worse there are stains on the walls. I walked into my living room to see Drew, Jake, Marco, and Matt all still sleeping on the floor and Hunter was passed out on the couch with his arm around the school's bitch and most popular girl in the senior class Adrienne Timer. A pang of jealousy hit me and all these questions rang through my head. Did they hook up last night? Are they dating now? I wondered to myself. But the answer was crystal clear when I saw red lip gloss all over his face.

I rolled my eyes and walked into the kitchen making myself peanut butter toast and pouring myself a glass of orange juice.

"Morning badass." Drew greeted me pouring himself a glass of orange juice

"Weren't you just out cold sleeping on the floor?" I asked confused laughing

"I heard the glasses and was thirsty. Great party last night kid. Everybody is talking about it saying it has been the best party so far all year. You did it." he said high fiving me

"You know Drew it would be nice if you could keep your voice down because unlike you most of us are severely hung over right now." Hunter said groggily walking into the kitchen and pouring himself some juice as well. He made a cringing face after his first sip.

"Taste like cherries?" I asked smirking

"Yeah how did you know?" he asked confused

"You have that shade of lip gloss all over your face." I said smirking while Drew started laughing. Hunter gave me a weird look that I couldn't read before stalking off to the bathroom.

"How are you so happy? Shouldn't you be dead like the rest of us?" Avery asked Drew as her and Chelsea joined us in the kitchen with the rest of the boys

"I used to drink so much when I was younger that hangovers don't really bother me that much anymore." he said shrugging

"Hey guys. Great party last night Chase. Who knew you had it in you?" Adrienne asked peeling herself a banana. Sure help yourself I guess I thought.

"Um thanks?" I said as more of a question

"I guess we will be seeing a lot more of each other." she said reading something on her phone

"What are you talking about?" Chelsea asked confused

"You and me got nominated for homecoming queen." she said showing me her phone

"That's great! Congrats Chaz!" Avery said hugging me. I mumbled a thanks as Hunter walked back into the room.

"Well I should get going but seriously last night was great. See you guys at school tomorrow. Hunter want to walk me out?" she asked him batting her eyes and flipping her perfect chesnut colored hair. Hunter nodded and walked her to the front door.
