Unknown Number: Who else would it be? As a teacher I have access to all your personal information, including phone numbers. Don't forget we're meeting at my house.
The phone blipped again in my hand before I could answer.
Unknown Number: You do remember where I live don't you?

Unknown Number: Good god you're grammar's awful.

Unkown Number: Whatever, just get over here as fast as you can. Also don't text and drive, you could get into an accident.
aw u care
Unknown Number: Eyes on the road.
I smiled at the screen and slid the phone into my pocket after I'd added his number into my contacts then made my way to Levi's neighborhood. I felt so out of place in by beat up car driving by manicured lawns and pristine driveways. The neighborhood was as nice as I'd remembered, very fitting to Levi's perfectionist personality. I chuckled to myself remembering how angry he'd been when he was too short to reach the cleaning solution, how hard it must have been being so far from his love.
"I do care about someone, I'm not completely heartless."
His words from the day he'd broken up mine and Jean's fight rang in my ears. Is he really far from his love? Or is it someone closer to him, someone in the Recons perhaps? Would I meet them? Would I want to? Obviously it couldn't be me, he'd made it very clear that he didn't want me. My heart cracked in my chest, remembering his brutal rejection.
Finally I pulled into his driveway where the older man stood smoking a cigarette on his porch, one hand in the pocket of his dark grey dress pants. His white, button up shirt wasn't tucked in for once and the sleeves were rolled up to his elbows. A forest green tie hung loosely around his neck and the top button of his shirt was undone. I guess this is the most caual I'd ever see him. I half-wondered if the man slept in business attire. He let out a puff of smoke before extinguishing the cigarette out in a dark red ashtray on a spotless white table and tossed the butt into the tray as well. He strolled over to my car and opened my door for me.
"Glad to see you could make it."
"Sorry," I smiled sheepishly, "Armin was kinda being up my ass on the whole situation but I managed to get out without too much of a fuss." I stepped out of the car and looked down at Levi who still didn't look too amused. I wouldn't ever tell him since I knew for a fact he'd murder me on the spot but I loved how short he was. It evened the playing field a bit for me since he was so much older than I was. "Am I just going to follow behind you in my car on the way over?"
He wrinkled his nose in disgust, "God no, I'm not going to let you embarrass yourself in that piece of junk. We'll load your stuff into my car and hide yours in my garage."
"Roger that captain!" I grinned and saluted him.
"Why do you always call me that?" Levi looked up at me, staring directly into my eyes.
"What, captain? I don't know," I shrugged, "It just fits, maybe in a past life you were once a captain of some sort of army or scouting regimen or something."
"Doubtful," Levi let the tiniest smile show through his usually cool demeanor, "But it's a nice thought." He lead me into the garage and tossed my bag into the trunk of his black 1987 Ferrari Mondial Coupe.
I whistled, "Damn, I know you're old an all but where'd you get a car like this?"
"I'm not that old and neither is the car," he growled, "And for the record I've had this car since I first started driving."
