Later that Day…

"Pheebs," I heard from the other room.

I walked into the room, "Zayn," I said.

He smiled at me, "you going to get ready?" he asked me.

"for what?" I asked walking over to him.

"We were invited to a cookout." He said.

I looked at him, "Where?" I asked grabbing his hand and playing with his fingers.

"Over at the Tomlinson's," He let out.

I sighed, "if you want to go I'll get ready." I said.

"I do," He smiled.

I nodded, "Then I'll get ready," i let out.

I got ready and we left.

When we got to the Tomlinson’s I saw the familiar Camry that belonged to Autumn.

I smiled, I wasn’t alone.

I walked in and there sat all the girls. We were so relieved.

“You guys all know each other?” Louis asked looking at us all.

“Yeah,” Kendall said bringing him some of the food to put on the grill.

We all sat the table.

“We should all try to go out this week together,” Isabella said smiling.

“We should, it’s boring sitting in the house all day,” Autumn said.

“They’re planning to start hanging out, should we be worried,” Niall let out.

“I don’t know, five females who are married hanging out... Does sound dangerous,” Louis let out.

I shook my head smiling at Zayn who was agreeing with them.

“We could say the same about you guys,” Autumn let out.

“Five married guys hanging out… Seems dangerous,” I let out.

We laughed and ignored the boys as we continued to talk.

Later on…

“So when is this food going to be ready?” Isabella said as we walked out to the patio.

“We’re starving,” Curly let out.

“Relax, it’s finishing now.” Niall let out.

I walked over to where Zayn was sitting smoking his cigarette.

He put it out as I walked closer.

He knows how much I hate smoking.

He pulled me in as we waited for the food and talked to everyone else.

His phone rang so I let go and sat in the seat next to his.

He left to talk for a few minutes.

“Who was that?” I asked.

“No one,” He let out.

I looked at him a little funny, “You okay?” I asked.

He nodded.

I grabbed a plate and went over to get food.

After we were done eating, we all hung out for a little longer but around 10 we went home.

I was in pajamas sitting on the couch watching TV when Zayn walked over and sat next me.

He seemed angry.

“What’s wrong Zayn?” I asked.

He shook his head.

“Don’t tell me it’s nothing if obviously something is bothering you,” I let out a little louder.

“I’m being deployed.” He let out.

I sat back a little and looked forward.

Those words hadn’t sunk in quite yet but they were.

He was going to leave.

He was going to leave me.

Here, Alone.

I sighed and looked up for a second where our eyes met.

I suddenly felt the tears warming my cheeks on their way up.

I pulled my knees up and placed my face of them facing him.

Watching him as he watched me.

“Say something,” He whispered to me.

I felt the lump in my throat tighten as a few tears fell down from the corner of my eyes.

“What am I supposed to say?” I asked quietly.

He gave me a look, “Nothing, nothing at all.” He whispered as he wiped the tears from my face.

“When do you leave?” I asked while a played with the edge of the couch.

He sighed, “Next week.” He let out as he placed his hand over his face for a second then looked back at me.

I touched his face and he held my hand against his cheek.

“I love you,” He said.

“I love you too Zayn,” I let out in a whisper as another tear fell.
