"Please?" Kong could manage to utter over the laughter. Looking at the hazel eyes with his last bit of strength.

Arthit somehow felt pity as he lowered his hand towards Kong. "Here you go Auntyji..."

Kong instantly took the papers and walked past, his anklets leaving a faint sound over the constant laughs. He fixed his dupatta with trembling hands and ragged breaths as he rushed out... Holding in his all to stop himself from crying. This wasn't supposed to happen... This was definitely not supposed to happen... He felt humiliated and wounded... Even though it was harmless and playful... No one will understand the hurt it left in his heart...

He was so tired and lost in his grievances that he didn't realise, one of his anklets dropped at the place where his life turned... He didn't know... That all through the interaction Arthit didn't blink once... He didn't know that in all this ruckus the other pair of his anklet was in the alpha's pocket now... That the alpha didn't look away once till he disappeared through the door.

"Choro use, Bali..." The omega commented again. "Come..."

Let him be, Bali...

Arthit blinked finally as he went to have his seat. Soon falling into conversation with his friends... The omega with the essence of soft floral meadows somewhere back in his mind... Lost...

"Don't call me that again... You are not that close to me to be so formal..." Arthit uttered, making sure his voice was polite but firm as he set the boundary. Taking a seat next to the window.

Flustering the omega who smiled awkwardly and focussed on her other friends to mask her embarrassment.

Kong went to the gardens of the building... He took economics as one of his additional subjects and he has to visit this department once in a while when the students of humanities will have combined classes. Mayur was waiting there, fiddling with his phone. His cute pixie-like face formed in a pout... His straight long hair flowing... Looking adorable under the sunlight in his pink and white dress.

"Hi..." Mayur waved and smiled the moment he noticed Kong. Coming to his feet.

Kong felt his first sob choking out as he rushed towards Mayur and threw his arms around his shoulders, hiding his face and sniffling on his silent sobs. Mayur was shocked... As he hugged Kong tight... Hushing and caressing his back.

"Mishtu..." Mayur uttered softly. "Kya huwa?"

What happened?

Kong and Mayur were so close that they visited each other's house and knew each other's pet names from home.

"What happened? Tell me..." Mayur parted and cupped Kong's face, searching his eyes as Kong kept his gaze lowered. Feeling Mayur dab away his wet cheeks.

Kong just kept weeping without any response... And Mayur felt like weeping himself. As they hugged each other. While a pair of eyes watched closely from upstairs. Especially at the flowing red dupatta and blotched teary face...

The event in that classroom... Changed Kong's life drastically... His quiet life was there no more... Somehow he became an urban legend... The President is known for his no nonsense attitude and strict rules against bullying. But when it spiralled around, the President had a little fun time with a junior... Kong was suddenly the target of blatant teasing. And direct name calls... Which made Kong's life hell. Though he never gave them the satisfaction of getting a reaction from Kong... It was still torturing...

Mayur would be furious sometimes... But it was never hard distracting Mayur with gossip about the students, teachers or their favourite actors. The books they'd read or make each other read. Though it was not enough to distract Mayur from one change... He noticed how Kong avoided his cute stalking... And walk the opposite direction the moments Kong would see Arthit.
