The call was disconnected and Kong trembled in fear as he woke up with a cold sweat... As carefully as he can... Not to wake up the person sleeping peacefully while holding him... Who didn't know anything about Kong's miseries.

Even working a job while studying for his master's program... That he found someone... Luna couldn't digest Kong's happiness... And she will ruin it...

"Why did you do it maa?" Kong's tender heart couldn't take the sight.

"Aren't you happy you could've been more free..."

"But you seemed happy with me out of your life... So don't worry... I'll free you soon..."

"No..." Kong panicked shaking his head. "No no... I will do what you want..."

Luna smirked. "You promise?"

Kong's lips trembled as he nodded with defeat. "Yes..."

"Kong don't fall for her drama..." Dean out of all people warned.

But it was too late... Because Luna took Kong's words. "I have selected a groom for you... And you will marry him without question..."

It was not about the alpha Kong wants anymore... It's about her ego and Kong's pain. And as soon as she said so... Kong went blank with pain on his face as the touch he had on his mother's hand dropped. While he kept gaping unbelievably at the woman he called mother... His eyes dying...

"What? Cowering? I knew..."

"It's not because I was away from you all these years is it?" Kong cut her with a hoarse voice... The look in his eyes for the first time made Luna feel cornered and vulnerable. "It's because I chose my happiness that is not approved by you... Right? It's not about him... It's about your wish being fulfilled? Right? It's about your control over my happiness... Right?"

Luna for the first time... Felt tongue tied. Kong stared at his father who was avoiding him... He knows... That if Kerkklai uses his authority... Luna will take her promise back... But Kerkklai did not... Kong knows... Kerkklai loves Luna more than anything... And he also knows... He will never choose Kong over Luna... Not after she burned herself...
