Patches found the room she wanted, it wasn't too big, but it wasn't small either. It had a window seat, which was her favorite part. She sits down on the floor, opening her suitcase and looking at all the little trinkets she put in it. She picks a few of them up, placing them on the shelf built-in the window seat. She takes a step back to admire them, a small smile on her face.

Time skip to dinner.

"Dad, can I explore outside when I'm done eating?" Patches asks nicely while fidgeting with the food with her fork, but Dream sighs. He looks up from his plate, looks out the window, and then at his daughter. He shakes his head, "No, it's raining. I don't want you to get sick." She groans, "It's just rain! I won't get sick," She pushes her plate away, crossing her arms and pouting.

Dream sets his fork down, his eyebrow raising, giving his signature Dad™ look as she pushes away her plate. He pushes her plate back towards her, "Just eat your food, please." His voice is stern, but also caring. It's clear that he's stressed, and just wants her to listen. Patches realizes his expression, and finally starts eating quietly, not wanting to upset him further.

Dinner goes by quietly, the only sound being the clinking of metal on plates. Until, Dream's phone starts ringing. Patches looks up from her plate, watching him answer it. It's obvious it's not a business call by the way he's smiling, it's probably his 'best friend', George. She rolls her eyes, getting up from the table and putting her plate in the sink. She thinks this is the perfect time to sneak out, so she makes sure he's focused before quickly slipping her purple jacket on, along with her matching purple rainboots.

She slips outside quietly, and immediately begins exploring, putting her hood on so her puffs don't get too wet.

After minutes of exploring, she finds herself sitting in the old garden, sitting on the cement blocks that form the garden. Patches looks down at her wrist, smiling softly at the bracelet Naomi gave her before she moved here. She always thought of Naomi as a cousin, since Dream thought of Sapnap as a brother and Sapnap is her dad.

It's been like, 20 minutes or so, and Dream just now realizes she's not inside. He groans to himself and opens the door, calling out for her, "Patches! Patches, get inside! I never said you could go out!" Patches sighs, getting up and going over onto the porch. Dream looks down at her, crossing his arms, "What makes you think you can go outside even after I told you no?" Patches crosses her arms to mimic him, glaring up at him slightly, "Because you were 'busy' on the phone, so I just went out,"

Dream is about to open his mouth to say something about that, but he sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Just- Just go to your room." She huffs, pushing past him and going inside.
