Being a 17 year old British Muslim isn’t easy. Not when you’re brought up with freedom and a religion that adheres certain rules; a religion that says it is forbidden for a girl to be in the same room alone as her cousin never mind a random boy off the streets. Going to a mixed school Arissa has always had male friends. Her father doesn’t know but her mother does. What happens when Arissa falls (literally) for the cute boy that visits his family every weekend that live next door to her?
