Chapter XIV

"Why do you think that company let an EXO member accept a project with you?" Unnie asks while driving. It caught my attention. "You just realized it too, didn't you?"

"Yeah." Why didn't I think of that? I sigh. "Well, we can't back out now. Let's just be professional and I don't know... expect something." I said.

We arrive at my place. I was about to exit the car already when unnie spoke.

"The cookies." She reminded me with a teasing tone. I shook my head.

"Give them to your niece. As much as I want to bring it to Seulgi, that bag's suspicious now." I stare at its personalized design. I'm exiting at my place's lobby and not the parking. I'm usually photographed here, can't risk it.

"Seulgi would've love it." She said.

"I can bake some for her." Unnie laughs.

"Go now. She must've been sleepy already, waiting for you." I nod and said my goodbye.

I entered my place carefully. 

"Hyun?" Seulgi came to my view with an apron on.

"Oh. Look at you." She looks cute. "What are you making?" 

"I baked cookies. You want some?" Cookies? HAHA

"I do." I greeted her with a hug. 

We walk our way to the kitchen. 

"4 minutes more." She checks the timer. "Did you eat dinner already?" I took the seat on the island stool

"Not yet. Did you?" 

"I did. Wait. I'll just cook something for you." She said and look over to the fridge. 

"Thank you." She turn to face me with a smile.

"How did the script reading go?" She asks with her back facing me. "What kind of drama is it?" 

"Romcom." She automatically face me, that's where I laugh. "You're at it again. Stop asking questions that makes you jealous." 

"Is it really romcom?" I shook my head. 

"No, but there's definitely a love interest." I said. I see her pout before turning back and focus on what she was doing. 

"Are there kissing scenes?" I smiled. She never asks these things before, she just discovers them when watching the shows already. I know she didn't like it and just stayed silent before. 

"There is one. Do you want me to ask them to remove it?" I ask. 

"No, it's fine. It's work." She said. I sneakily grab my phone and texted unnie.

Unnie ask them to remove some kissing scenes and leave only one.
Tell them this or nothing. 

Some and you're only leaving one

The sound of the timer suddenly went off. 

"Let me." I stand up from the stool. She's cooking food already. 

I got the cookies out from the oven. "This looks good. Since when do you bake?" 

"I was in a call with Seungwan before you got here." 

"I bet this tastes good too." I said and pick up piece, but that wasn't a good idea. "Aw!"

"Hyun! You just got it from the oven!" Next thing I know she's in front of me already. She shake her head. "You're becoming clumsy now." 

"Look who's talking." I said. She's the most clumsy of us all. 

"Go back to your seat. I'll be the one to serve food to you."

"You're becoming too caring now." I said as I walk my back to the stool. She eyed me. I just smiled at her. 

After a few minutes she serve food in front of me. 

"How am I going to finish all that?" I look up to her in disbelief. 

"I will be eating with you. I got hungry, cooking it." I laugh. 

"You're unbelievable." I said before pulling the other stool closer to me. She look at me. "I need you close." 

She took the seat. When she met my stare she smiled and leaned over to kiss me on my cheek. 

"Stop staring." She said. "You're making me feel things." 

"Well, isn't that good?" I raised my brows. She then cup my chin and made me look down at the food. 

"Why don't you eat first, before teasing me. Hmm?" I can't help but smile.

"You caught it now. You don't mind it before." I said. 

"I was in denial." She said. "Now I can freely express intentions like you have been doing." I scoff.

"Oh really now?" I questioned. 

"Hyun... The food will get cold." She said. 

"I'm hungry for other things now." I notice her pause in taking a bite. 

"Hyun." She said it in a warning tone. 

"I'm kidding." I then pick up my cutlery. 

I love getting this new reactions from her.
