Chapter: Two

Okay you guys asked for it! So here's Chapter Two!

*Lucas' P.O.V*

"Yesterday?" Asked Maya regretfully.

What was wrong? I wondered. She seems like she's scared!

I reached out my hand praying she wouldn't flinch. I touched her soft skin and felt a tiny flinch but I could tell she was trying to avoid it so I ignored it, even though it was hard to.

I led her outside of school and sat down.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Lucas I can't." Said Maya getting ready to leave.

I grabbed her hand and made her sit next to me.

"Maya!" I said.

"I don't know! It's just..." Said Maya as she then looked at her dangling feet.

I grabbed her chin and pointed her head towards me. Gosh she's so cute!

"Maya.... Did I do something?" I asked.

"Lucas... I think I like you!" Maya finally spilled out.

I tried to hide my excitement even though it was hard... Then it dawned to me.... RILEY! I can't do this too Riley.

"Look Ranger Rick... Let's ignore it... That'll be much easier! You pretend I never told you and I pretend the feelings never happened! Okay?" Said Maya.

"But Maya I don't want to hide-"

"Lucas!" Demanded Maya. "Riley!" She continued.

"Right." I said sadly.

"Bye Lucas." Said Maya walking off.

"Bye Maya." I said as I angrily made my way to the baseball field.

She's so cute! She's so... NO LUCAS! Your with Riley.

And that's what happened. I stayed with Riley... The kisses the hugs, the hand holding no longer meant anything to me. I wanted to be with Maya. Riley is kind, caring, sweet, and well... She's pretty but there's something about Maya! Go figure! I mean I love it when she calls me names it leaves chills down my spine. And when she touches me it feels like thousands of sparks are roaming through my body.

"Lucas!" Said Riley.

"Hmmm? Oh sorry Maya." I said.

Shit! Did I say Maya?!

"I mean Riley!" I said fastly.

"Anyway... let's go get Maya." Said Riley holding my hand.

Oh no! We're holding hands and Maya is going to-

"Hey Maya." Said Riley excited.

Maya stared at our hands making me feel really bad.

Poor Maya. I thought.

"Uh Riley! I'll see you later." I said letting go of her hand.
