Warning; Slightly Gory Parts

A/N{EDITED}; Man I deleted half of this A/N because it's messing with my brain.

I made a five year time gap because I didn't want them to see each other, and they won't see anyone very often, because Ging is always traveling and hiding, and Silva is busy, plus Pariston is just her enemy now.

Arietta's POV

-- -- -- -- --

I looked at the ring, slipping it onto my pinky, where it fit perfectly. The ring must have been intended for a child, or it would've been much larger. Looks like it really is from Kil.

Thankfully I had small thin fingers. Otherwise it wouldn't fit. Putting the necklace over my head and resting it on my collarbone, I tucked the letter in my pocket. I started to gather my things.

Silva... Is he on Kil's side?

My ears started fuming as my brain stopped working... again.

Argh! Stupid brain!

Then, I stepped out into the snowy terrain. I smiled eagerly and dragged my bags to the car. I dropped my bags in the back, then got into the driver's seat. After buckling myself in and starting the car, I pushed down on the gas pedal.

The cold car slowly warmed up as I drove, and I listened to a bit of music as I drove to the city where it all began.

Honestly, I don't even know it's name, I just know that it's the city where the wall is. I never learned its name. I don't think I ever will. My train of thought then traveled elsewhere.

My boat. I think I'll buy a new boat. That old rickety one's probably gone anyways.

I drove for a couple hours or so through the snow that soon turned into a sunny day. Then I saw the city buildings. What good memories! Being with gramps was one of my best memories here! Those were the good old days when I was ignorant of the world.

Five years sure does pass fast!

Reaching the bay, I stopped by a motor boat owner. When I asked them for the boat, I offered quite a chunk of money, which they greedily took in return for their boat which was worth five times less. Maybe six or seven though, I'm not sure about the monetary values.

I 'borrowed' a trailer from a man, so that I could bring my boat, and drove to the wall-that was pretty far from the city from what I recall. The guards on the wall were new, but when I told them my name and showed them my license they let me through. I suppose it has something to do with gramps.

I wonder what'll happen to my car...? I hope gramps takes care of it. Honestly, in my imagination, I imagined him kicking it because I called him gramps last time we met and told him he wasn't a day younger than a hundred. Mom always told me to be truthful, so why doesn't it work now?

After I got the trailer through a gate, I sighed in relief, halfway there! Then I set the boat into the water and started driving the motor boat, which I used similarly to a car. It still took a few hours to get to my home, but it was definitely faster than the day I left! When I left the island, it took me forever to get away.
