Title: Here the Whole Time

Theme: Revali's in love with Mipha but she hasn't quite fallen for him...yet.

Warnings: Hint-hint, nudge-nudge to certain things, some swearing. Revali being an idiot as usual and Mipha being a wholesome, blind sweetheart.

They shared some classes. She'd say they were close. Close friends, but nothing more than that. He'd tease her. She'd get all flustered and shove his arm. He'd laugh and look at her with a fond smile on his face. They were friends.

Some people said he had a crush on her, but she didn't believe it. She had known Revali since they were freshmen in high school and he didn't do crushes, so she doubted that would change going into their sophomore year of college. Although she did know that despite not doing crushes he...got around. He was in it for the temporary burst not the long lasting flame that she wanted.

Besides, she still found herself drawn to Link, despite the fact that he was dating Zelda. She would never try to sabotage them or anything like that and she tried to make peace that if Link was happy, she was happy. But she still liked him...a lot.

This had always annoyed Revali, and she assumed it stemmed from his hate for Link. Although Impa tried to tell her it was because Revali liked her and she was still hung up on Link. Mipha had always dismissed the idea.

They were just friends.

"You should hang out with us tonight," Urbosa leaned against the lockers as Mipha gathered her things. "We're having a girl's night at Zelda's. Her father's on a trip and actually gave her permission to have us over. No boys allowed."

"That sounds fun! I'll gladly join you." She heard a familiar male voice drift down the hall as she closed her locker, glancing over. Revali was talking to whatever girl he was temporarily with right now, a freshman named...Melody, if she remembered correctly.

Urbosa sighed. "Its unfortunate."

"What is?"

"What's happened to that boy. He tries to lose himself in other people and he always ends up back at square one."

Mipha's eyes widened and she stared over at Revali. Melody clearly was flirting with him and by the smirk on his face he was flirting back. He happened to glance up and met Mipha's gaze, his smirk turning to a genuine smile. He offered a little wave, catching Melody's attention, and she turned and waved too, a happy grin on her face. Mipha smiled and waved back.

Urbosa sighed. "Melody's such a nice girl. She doesn't deserve to be caught up in Revali's nonsense."

Mipha frowned. "Doesn't everyone know about his...reputation?"

"Surprisingly not everyone, I'm afraid. But he'll figure it out eventually."

"Yeah," she turned away, starting down the hall. "One day he'll find someone to settle down with. I'm sure he will."

She missed Urbosa's sad smile. "I'm sure he will."

Revali stared at the ceiling of his dorm, taking in the cracks in the paint. Melody's head rested on his chest, her black hair just at the edge of his line of vision.
