Magnus, Alec, Isabelle, and the others were in the Institute kitchen. They had ordered sandwiches from Bloodandguts sandwich shop, and Jace had got back with them.
Simon was just about to take a bite of his sandwich when suddenly it grew legs and stabbed him with its claw. "Ow, what the hell!" He shouted. Simon dropped his sandwich, and it started hissing at him.
Then, suddenly all of the sandwiches grew legs and started hissing. "Why do the good things always have to be ruined?" Jace asked. Clary glared at him. "I mean why does all the good food get ruined." This time Izzy was the one glaring at him.
"I am not that bad at cooking!" Izzy exclaimed.
"Yes you are!!" Everyone shouted at her.
"Anyways back to the problem at hand. What kind of demons are these?" Magnus asked.
"Sandwich Demons!" Jace shouted.
Everyone pulled out their seraph blades while Magnus used his magic. They all started killing their sandwiches. The battle was soon over, and all the sandwiches were destroyed. Simon was standing over his sandwich shouting "Whhhyyyy?"
They still didn't get any dinner. So Magnus suggested they go Takis. Everyone all agreed and left.
