She had a thoughtful look, seemingly studying his every feature. He decided to study her back, looking at the curve of her jaw, the way her hair was strewn about, and the way her eyes looked like orbs of gold.

He finally admitted it to himself. He found her attractive and loved her smile. That would probably explain why he felt the desire to make her smile and laugh whenever he could.

She suddenly blushed and looked away. "We--we should go back to the party."

He didn't look away from her, asking softly, "Is that what you want to do?"

She looked back up at him. "Not really...but we are responsible adults."

Revali couldn't help but snort. "That's questionable."

"Oh, Revali."

"I'm just joking. Come on."

Two weeks flew by faster than Revali could blink. Muzu had noticed their absence at the party, giving them angry looks but saying nothing. In fact, over the two weeks since, Muzu had barely looked at Revali at all, which the prince found relieving.

Mipha and Revali spent time together every day, especially outside. Mipha showed Revali how to paint and convinced him to make a rather dismal painting of a tree. He taught her how to play guitar and she managed to play a disjointed version of the Ballad of the Goddess.

Revali found himself admiring her more every day. She was talented and sweet, and he believed they had become friends. Which was good, he thought, especially with the wedding only a week away.

Sidon had returned from visiting Lady Yona, flying in late the previous night. Revali was supposed to meet him the next morning, but he was greeted by a servant with an odd request. "Princess Mipha requests your presence at Veiled Falls at your earliest convenience."

"Aren't I supposed to meet her brother this morning?" Revali asked. The servant simply shrugged and left.

Unsure of what else to do, Revali headed outside. He located the falls quickly enough, since Mipha had been teaching him the surrounding geography in depth. He launched himself into the sky, startling a nearby guard and he glided easily over. The skies were beautifully clear today, a refreshing breeze carrying him from the east.

He saw Mipha at the bottom of the falls with two guards standing at the top of the falls and one at the bottom with her. She waved when she saw him and he waved back, doing a loop in the sky before bringing himself to land. He hadn't been flying as much lately so every time he could it was like a shot of adrenaline.

He landed in a deep bow, just to show off. "Princess."

She smiled. "Prince Revali. Always so showy."

"Its not just for show, its utilization of skill," he couldn't help but smile fondly at her before eyeing the wetsuit she was wearing. "What are we doing here? aren't we supposed to be meeting with your brother?"

"At lunch. I wanted to bring you here, and show you something." She dropped into the water, swimming gracefully over to a rock protruding from the pond. Taking the initiative, he flew over to the rock.

"Alright, what's going on here, Princess?"

"As I'm sure you well know, the Zora are known for their swimming abilities and how we can climb waterfalls with ease," she held lightly onto the edge of the rock, her magenta ponytail drifting with the current. "I happen to hold one of the fastest times for waterfall climbing. I want to know which of us is faster."

"A race, Princess Mipha?" Revali smirked. "I knew you had that competitive streak in you somewhere."

She shrugged, smiling. "Are you in?"
