Chapter 5

Camren Pov.

After the game Nicole & I went to get something to eat then we went home. She kept asking me what Stephen & I were talking about & I told her that he asked for my number & that was about it. I honestly couldn't get that scene out of my head it just kept replaying over & over again.

Nicole decided she was gonna spend the night with me, we got situated & then she started talking about Klay & how cute he was & funny & Etc. We put in a movie, once we started watching the movie our phones went off they were number we didn't know.

I picked it up & said Hello, it was Stephen & Nicole did the same thing & it was Klay we both started laughing. I was so tapping my nose right now. When he said that he was gonna call I didn't really think he was gonna call I thought he was gonna text me or something.

It was silence for a bit until he asked me what I was doing & I told him just hanging out with Nicole & he was like same but it's with Klay. I laughed a little, I was gonna tell him something but I told him that he couldn't freak out or anything. I told him how I didn't know who he was until Nicole told me. He started laughing & said it was okay it feels like he has a clean plate cause everyone he talks to knows him or knows of him.

We were on the phone for a while Nicole feel asleep on Klay. It was easy talking to Stephen he understood everything, that's hard to find in a man. We just talked & it was cute because we talked about deep stuff that I wouldn't talk to Nicole about. It felt like we've known each other our whole life.

Stephen Pov.

Camren & I were talking on the phone for hours. She was a really easy girl to talk to I mean she understood everything I was talking about. I even got in my feeling & she was very supportive it was crazy cause Ayesha wasn't that supportive of me when we were together. I even told her about Ayesha & I don't tell anyone about what happens with us.

She just made life easy to live, it was amazing how we had so much things in common. She was a true blessing, I wanted to ask her out but I don't like doing that over the phone it's kinda lame.

Carmen Pov.

I woke up the next day tired as hell. If it wasn't for my alarm clock I probably wouldn't have woke up until noon, I was a heavy sleeper I could sleep forever if I wanted to. I got out of bed and did my usually routine I do when I get ready. We had practice at 10 so I decided to leave the house around 9:15, before I went out the door I woke Nicole up & told her I made breakfast for her & to lock up once she left.

Once I made it to the Orcale Arena I went to my office to catch up on some paper work I didn't get to finish. I was interrupted by a knock on the door it was Klay he wanted to get some bio- freeze on his shoulder before practice. I told him to hop up on one of the athletic beds, once I got to him he was just staring at me. I asked him what he was staring at and he asked me if Nicole talked about him at all. I just laughed cause I should have known it was about her, I just nodded my head and said yes & told him that she thought he was very attractive & that she liked you. He didn't say anything after I was done he hopped off and right when he was about to leave he turns around to tell me that Stephen thinks the same thing about me. When he said that I just started blushing & I don't ever blush.

Stephen Pov.

The game & talking on the phone with Carmen & dealing with Riley really had taken a toll on me, I was so tired maybe I shouldn't have talked to her for that long because I didn't get no rest whatsoever. What am I talking about yes I should've I liked talking to her she was so down to earth & everything I looked for in a girl.

After I got done getting dressed I headed off to practice. It wasn't going to be hard we were just going to split up and do some shooting and that was it. I'm glad it was a easy day.

Once I got done with round one with my shooting drills I decided to get some water. I didn't notice Camren sitting by the water jug until I was approaching her, she looked so tired she had sweats & a hoodie on with her hair in a bud with glasses on. To be honest I have never seen a girl look so lazy but yet pull it off she was a first. She was so zoned out cause I said hi to her twice but she didn't hear me. I started laughing and I guess that broke her out of her daze, she just looked up to me and apologized she wasn't paying attention.

I just shock my head to tell her she's all good, & by looking at me she knew that I was really tired and she immediately apologized for keeping me up so long last night. She was so cute I was just staring at her.

Carmen pov.

Stephen was just staring at me while I was trying to say sorry for keeping him up so late last night cause I could tell he was tired by just glancing at him. I'm pretty sure he zoned out on my cause  I had to tap his shoulders so that he could come back to earth. He said he was sorry and that he couldn't help but stare at my beauty.

My beauty I repeated I started blushing I'm in sweats and a hoodie looking rough there is no beauty behind that I said. He told me that he has never seen a girl dressed up as I was and yet still pull it off. That made me feel real good about my self cause if I could I would wear sweats and hoodies everywhere I go. When he said that I just smiled and looked right at him, I felt like Stephen really saw me for me, and that made me crush on him a little more.

He had to go back to his practice, but before he left he asked if I wanted to get lunch with him and I said yeah. He just smiled and told me he would text m after practice. I don't know what he's doing to me but I think I sorta like it.

Stephen pov.

Once practice was over I headed to the locker room to change and everything. Once I was situated I had texted Carmen to see if she still wanted to have lunch, she replied pretty fast and said yes. She also texted me and said that she went home to change she didn't want to look like a slob while eating. I couldn't help but laugh at that cause for her that wasn't possible, I didn't know if she wanted to ride up there together or if she wanted to ride separately. I asked her & she said that it was up to me so I told her that I would pick her up.

My parents had to go somewhere so they couldn't watch Riley & I gave Maria the day off. I didn't think that Camren would mind if she tagged along, so before heading to Camren I had to make sure it was okay if Riley came, she said did she even need to answer that cause I already knew the answer. She said she didn't mind at all if the little one tagged along she actually wanted her to so she could finally meet her in person.

I arrived at her apartment building & once I texted her I was here she came out side. I opened my door to greet her properly I gave her a hug and even opened her door for her, my parents raised me right. Once we were all in the car I asked Riley if she could say hi & she said and Camren said hi also, Riley complimented her on her shirt and Camren complimented her on her shoes. The didn't even know where we wanted to have lunch at I asked Camren and she said she didn't care and what I wanted and I told her I didn't care so we just busted out laughing. She said why don't we ask Riley it took her a while to decide but she choose Mccalisters because she lived there mac and cheese. A asked Camren if she was okay with her and she said of course it was time she ate healthy, I just laughed cause I agree with her.

She punched me lightly in the arm and I pretend it hurt and I told Riley she hit, you wanna know what she said she said I probably deserved it. Camren and I just looked at each other and busted out laughing I can't believe she said that. I asked Riley who taught her that and she said her Aunt Sydel I should have known, she teaches my daughter everything. The car ride to Mccalisters was really fun Riley was making us laugh and Camren was singing to every song on the radio, she was goofy but it was a good type of goofy and I really liked it.

Okay so I made this one longer & I think I'm gonna start doing my story like this so that I can fit everything into one chapter so that I don't have to do parts I don't like that. If you like it message me if you want me to write more.
