chapter 3: beating the DJ (again)

At the crater

Agent 3 and 4 fight DJ Octavio. 4 notices during the fight he is way weaker then she remembers. The captain also notices it.

Captain (via headset): "3 and 4, Octavio looks weak. Almost looks like he isn't using the zapfish."

Agent 4 (via headset): "yeah, I also noticed that. We got this, 3!"

Octavio: "I told you guys! I didn't steal the zapfish this time!"

As Octavio says that, agent 3 finishes him off. He gets launched in the air, and hits the floor pretty hard.

Cuttlefish: "you really didn't use the zapfish, Octavio?"

Octavio: "no!"

Cuttlefish: "it actually makes sense that the octarians became furries then."

Octavio: "THEY BECAME WHAT!"

Suddenly the ground below them crumbles and fuzzy ooze peeks through. As they fall, Cuttlefish get's grabbed by a fuzzy arm. The hero gear of agent 3 and 4 fall off. They both black out.

In Alterna

The duo wake up, laying on a floor of fake snow.

Agent 3: "where are we? Isabelle, wake up."

Agent 4: "huh, where did our gear go?"

???: "hey, 3 and 4! Come up here!"

Agent 3: "let's just follow the voice."

At the squid sisters camp

???: "hey 3 and 4, so happy you 2 woke up. I'm agent 1 of the new Squidbeak Splatoon!"

???: "and I'm agent 2."

Agent 1: "come on, 2! Be happier!"

Agent 2: "I'm just worried about gramps. But you probably already know him, but this is the captain."

Captain: "hey, guys. Happy you woke up."

Agent 4: "what happened to Cuttlefish?"

Agent 1: "he got kidnapped. Luckily we placed a tracker on him, because this is the.... Third time."

Agent 2: "the only problem is that we get 3 readings at the same time. We want you 2 to go to those reading as quick as possible."

Captain: "but you 2 can now go home. That fall probably hurt a lot. So you 2 can rest. It's Friday, so see you two after the weekend."

Agent 3: "okay, captain."
Agent 4: "cya on Monday."

The duo leaves Alterna and gets to the train station that was just finished.

Jade: "good this thing is finally done. Let's go home."
Isabelle: "let's go to Inkopolis square."

Little did they know what would happen.
