Gangle pouted, pulling out a pink flip phone and dialling a number on it. The phone began to ring, before someone picked up (who I assumed was Caine).

Caine : "Mmmmyello?"

Gangle : "Hey, Caine. We're having a bit of an issue with the employees, and I was wondering if you could maybe have a punishment waiting for them at the end of the day if they do a terrible job?"

Caine : "Wait, what? Motivation! That's what my adventures have been missing! Great idea, Gangle. I'll make sure to make something TRULY awful awaiting for your rotten employees."

Gangle hung up, smiling over at Jax, who was still stepping onto my tits.

Jax : "Why would you do this?"

Gangle :  "It's called a manic episode, and you're gettin' THREE MORE SEASONS!! HAHAHAH- Anyway. Jax, it's your job to set up the drink station, make new coffee and iced tea, and fill the ice cream machine. So get to it!"

Gangle left the room to her own devices, Ragatha still basically drowning in the deep fryer whilst I just lay on the floor, basically being suffocated by Jax's foot. Jax looked down at me, the two of us basically having a staring contest.

Jax : "This is really weird."

(Y/N) : "Yeah, agreed."

10 minutes later...

Pomni and I casually stood at our cash register, Pomni looking bored whilst I continuously clicked the cashier buttons. Suddenly, loud booming sounds were heard, making Pomni and I look up. Our first customer looked like he was made from bubbles, however I don't think they were bubbles. More like blue balls. He looked down at us.

Strange customer : [unintelligible, rubbery speach]

Pomni looked utterly confused, whilst I comprehended what this strange customer had said.

(Y/N) : "I think he said he's gonna order...?"

Pomni : "Oh, uh— uh, what can I get for you today?"

Ragatha : "Oh, hey! It's Orbsman."

(Y/N) : "Orbsman...?"

Pomni and I turned to look at Ragatha, confused.

Ragatha : "Oh, he's from a previous adventure. Uh, before your time."

Orbsman : [unintelligible, rubbery speech continues]

(Y/N) : "Uhh...a number 57?"

Orbsman nodded, to which I smiled and typed on the cash register. Orbsman, walked into the counter a few times (which made me jump every time since it was unexpected) before leaving to sit down on a table. Sighing, I leaned back against the wall behind me. I was about to space out, until I heard someone approaching.

NPC 1 : [rudely] "Excuse me. Yeah, little (what your appearance is inspired off of) and jester? I'd like to order the Stupid Burger."

(Y/N) : [mumbling] "Yeah you're getting the stupid burger because it describes you well."

"Last time I ordered it here, they forgot to add the sauce that makes you stupid. Don't forget the sauce."

Pomni : "I-Is that a thing we have?"

NPC 1 : "Yes. I order it all the time." [twitches] "I'm addicted."

Pomni and I stared at the weird customer, a little concerned.

(Y/N) : "Okay. One Stupid Burger."

Ragatha : "Heard you loud and clear!"

After the NPC went to sit down, I attempted to rest again, only to hear ANOTHER PERSON approaching. As I reopened my eyes, they immediately widened as I noticed who I remembered to be Gummigoo. Out of surprise, Pomni and I yelped and fell backwards, except I fell backwards and hit my head on the wall that I was previously leaning on. I tumbled down the wall and lay on the floor, looking up at the ceiling, dazed.

I continued to zone on the floor as Pomni and Gummigoo awkwardly talked, not noticing the person that loomed over me.

Jax : "(Y/N)!!"

Hearing my name, I snapped out of my daze, looking up at Jax. He looked down at me, his face displaying a mix of confusion and amusement.

Jax : "Are you dying?...or something..?"

(Y/N) : "No..."

Jax : "Uhh...do you need me to step on your tits again??"

(Y/N) : "No..."

Jax : "Just get up."

(Y/N) : "No."

Jax : "Whyyy...?"

(Y/N) : "I'm too comfy here."

Jax sighed, bending down to me. OMG IS HE GONNA KISS ME?? OH MY GOD OH MY GOD THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING- okay you can do this (Y/N)... JUST USE A LOT OF TONGUE-

I was pulled out of my thoughts by Jax, literally, as he pulled me up from the floor. I was about to let go of his hands and go cry in the corner from embarrassment, until we Jax somehow lost his balance. He began to fall backwards, pulling me down with him. He toppled onto the counter, making me fall on top of him. Wow...

We were practically inches from each other. What if I were to kiss him...? Wait...why would I do that?? WHY AM I EVEN CONTEMPLATING THAT?? We both stared at each other for what felt like hours, until Pomni spoke up.

Pomni : "Gummigoo....it was actually him...also what are you guys doing..?"

I quickly leaped off of Jax and grabbed a broom that lay near me, trying to change the subject.

(Y/N) : "I'm gonna go...clean...? I dunno just do whatever the f- [WACK!] you guys want. If you need me, d-don't call me- Cus you probably won't n-need me...anyway-"

Blushing like crazy, I grasped the broom tighter and ran into the other room, beginning to sweep frantically. I don't think I can look at Jax the same now...
