Jax and Ragatha began to bicker like usual, when I noticed that Gangle began to leave with Zooble. Curious, I began to follow them, until a pair of familiar arms pulled me back.

Jax : "Hi, (Y/N)~!"

I sighed, looking up at the rabbit.

(Y/N) : "Hi Jax- WAH-"

Jax quickly bent down to my height, leaning his head against mine with a grin.

Jax : [whispering] "Thanks for untying me at the adventure yesterday~"

I gulped quietly, recalling the events of yesterday when we were in the haunted mansion. I was about to reply when-

(R/N) : "JAX~!!"

Jax : "Hide me-"

Gladly I thought as I slid Jax behind you, shielding him from the chaos that stood in front of me.

(R/N) : "(Y/N), let me through."

(Y/N) : "No. :)"

(R/N) : "How would you feel if I shielded you from Jax, hmm?"

(Y/N) : "I wouldn't care-"

(R/N) : "(Y/N)..."

For some reason, (R/N)'s glare and low voice sent a chill down my spine. She wasn't even scary!! Thankfully, Ragatha saved the day unintentionally.

Ragatha : "Uhh...guys? Gangle walked off with Zooble and I kinda think we should check up on them..."

Pomni : "Yeah I saw them walking away as well."

Pomni joined our little mother's meeting, before staring at Jax and I as I continued to shield him, confusion written all over her face. Jax, taking this as an opportunity to get away from (R/N), decided to come with me and the others to check up on Gangle and Zooble as well.

The four of us listened in on Gangle and Zooble's conversation from outside Zooble's room, curious. Well, Jax was just boredly poked my head like a five year old, which obviously pi- [WACK] -sed me off.

I'd never seen Zooble's room before. It was colourful, but not in a blinding and nauseating way like the circus.

I all watched as Zooble gifted Gangle with a plastic mask, in which she slowly tried it on.

Zooble : "How's it feel?"

Gangle : "It feels...normal. Like, in a good way."

Gangle turned to face Zooble happily.

Zooble : "That's good. Right?"

Gangle : "Yeah. Thank you, Zooble."

I smiled at the adorable interaction, until Jax had to ruin it with this annoying ass voice.

Jax : "What the heck is this? You're just givin' away parts now?"

Jax leaned against the door, smirking at the two.
