He just wanted to be near Shelly, and maybe sprout.

He walked out of his dorm, not bothering to fix himself up and started looking for Shelly, she was normally by the entrance.

Cosmo found Shelly "hey! Shelly!" Cosmo yelled before running up to her "I feel better now! Thanks for checking up on me!" Cosmo could feel sprouts gaze on him.

"Oh no problem Cosmo! It's what friends are for. And we already got the cookies out for the kids so don't worry about it! Me and sprout can do this"

Cosmos stomach flipped "but what about me and you.? We always do this together."

"Well.. sorry but sprout asked me first! We can do it next time though! You can go hang with uhm.. Astro! He kinda ditched us so.. we don't need you right now though! Sorry if that seems rude." Shelly looked at sprout and smiled, and sprout did the same.

"Oh." Cosmo couldn't even fake smile now, he should go before he embarrasses himself.

So he was right, Shelly is replacing him, his only friend, taken by a stupid strawberry? Cosmo felt angry.

"Why do you look so mad hm?"

Cosmo was startled "sprout? Why are you here, go be with Shelly!"

"I told her I had to use the restroom real quick. What's wrong? You seem to dislike the idea of Shelly and I doing what you and her always do."
