The team exchanged concerned glances, their gazes shifting from the wreckage to Maya's pale face.

Travis spoke up, his voice filled with worry. "Maya...?"

Maya couldn't speak, her mind refusing to process the scene in front of her. Her eyes remained glued to the wreckage, as though willing it not to be real.

Travis reached out to touch her shoulder, trying to snap her out of her trance. "Maya, are you okay?"

Maya looked at Travis and said "I am fine he gave my sister drugs that could have killed her so I don't care."

Travis exchanged glances with the other team members, his eyes wide with surprise at Maya's blunt response.

Jack spoke up, his tone cautious. "Maya, I understand you're upset, but we're still on duty. We have to remain professional."

Maya clenched her jaw, her eyes still fixed on the car. "I know. I'll be professional. Just...let's get to work."

She took a deep breath and steeled herself, pushing her personal feelings aside and focusing on the task at hand.

The team stepped out of the vehicles, their eyes scanning the scene to assess the damage. They quickly went to work, each of them falling into their respective roles.

Maya pushed aside her personal feelings about Mason, knowing she had a job to do. But deep down, she couldn't help but feel a sense of anger and disgust.

As they approached the car, Maya's eyes scanned the wreckage, her heart pounding in her chest. And then, she saw him.

Mason, trapped inside the car, his body twisted unnaturally. Shock and anger surged through Maya as she looked at him, her emotions conflicted.

She wanted to feel sympathy, to feel bad that he was in pain, but all she could feel was anger. Anger that he gave her sister drugs, anger that he betrayed her trust.

But she pushed those feelings, forcing herself to focus on her duty as a firefighter.

She joined the rest of the team in working to extricate Mason from the wreckage. Her hands moved with precision and efficiency, her mind blocking out the emotions swirling within her.

As Ben checked Mason's vitals, the team waited anxiously for the report. The tension in the air was thick, each of them silently praying for a different outcome.

Ben looked up, his expression grave. "He's gone."

Maya looked at Ben and said "Good."

The team looked at Maya, varying degrees of surprise and concern on their faces at her cold response. Jack spoke up, his voice low. "Maya...you can't mean that."

Maya turned to face them, her eyes full of anger and bitterness. "He messed with our sister, he gave her those drugs. He's the reason she's in the hospital right now. So, yeah, I do mean it."

The team exchanged glances, their expressions a mix of shock and understanding. They could see the pain and anger in Maya's eyes, and they knew they couldn't blame her completely for her reaction.

Travis placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, his voice soft. "Maya, I get that you're angry. But we're still firefighters. We have to treat every patient the same, no matter who they are."

Maya looked at Travis and said "I am going to go sit in the engine I am not feeling well I am having seizure symptoms."

The team looked at Maya with concern, their minds instantly on high alert. Seizure symptoms weren't something to be taken lightly.
