Chapter 4: Complicated Meetings...!

"Magearna", Lillie commands, "use trick room!"

Magearna then sets up trick room. Pikachu tries to run around, but it is heavily slowed down due to trick room

"Magearna, now's our chance!", Lillie says, "Use Fleur Cannon!"

For the first time in this battle, Fleur Cannon hits, and Pikachu is hurt from it

Ash thinks for a moment, unsure of what to do about this, but then comes up with an idea

"Magearna, use Fleur Cannon!", Lillie commands, as Magearna charges up another Fleur Cannon

"Pikachu, get ready...", Ash says, with Pikachu getting ready to do something

Just before Fleur Cannon can finish charging, they act!

"Pikachu, trap it with Electro Web!", Ash commands, as Pikachu catches the firing Fleur Cannon in Electro Web just before it hits, surprising Lillie

"Now knock it back with Iron Tail!", Ash commands, as Pikachu hits electro web with iron tail, sending the blast right back at Magearna

Ash then has Pikachu trap Magearna in an Electro Web while it has the chance, but Magearna breaks our using Dazzling Gleam

By this point, the effects of light screen and Aurora Veil have faded, though trick room is still in effect

Ash has Pikachu use Iron Tail on the snow, covering him, but Magearna blitzes towards Pikachu and uses Dazzling Gleam, knocking to back

"Magearna, charge up another Fleur Cannon!", Lillie commands, as Magearna charges its Fleur Cannon up yet again

"Pikachu, there's only one way to finish this!", Ash says, as he pulls out his Z-Ring

Ash then uses the normal type Z-Crystal, as he and Pikachu perform the move Breakneck Blitz. Doing so, Pikachu meets Fleur Cannon head on and breaks right through it, taking Magearna out of the battle. By this point, trick room has faded

Lillie returns Magearna and thanks it for its efforts

"Man, we really had to use z-move to get outa that one!", Ash says, with a slight laugh in his voice

Lillie giggles a bit, and she starts feels good about herself, being strong enough to push Ash of all people into a corner like that. She then sends out her next Pokémon

"Let's win this battle, with everything we've got!," Lillie says, as she sends out her final Pokémon... it's an Absol!

"Wow, an Absol!", Ash remarks, "That's really cool!"

"Thanks Ash, that's really sweet", Lillie replies, with a light blush, "but... do you want to know what else is cool?", Lillie says, grabbing Ash's attention

Lillie then pulls something out of her pocket. She then tossed it into the air, causing its reflection to shine in front of Ash, and she catches it again, causing it to emit a large glow

"Wait...", Ash remarks, completely surprised by this revelation, "is that another Key Stone?????"

Ash then looks at Pikachu, and they both get fired up

"This is gonna be so good...!", Ash says to himself

Lillie commands Absol to mega evolve, and after the great glow... nothing happens. Absol is not mega evolved at all, surprising Ash

"Uh...", Lillie stutters, "Absol, mega evolve!"

Absol responds by licking its paw, showing a mild uninterest in the battle itself
