One day you were scrolling through Wattpad looking for a new book to read. Suddenly, a glorious cover strikes your eye! You click on it and read the summary. What a wonderful idea!
After hours spent reading this story and staying up until 3 am, you finish. You smile and think, Wow! I love that book!
You proceed to read a few more. Then, it all gets boring. Every plot with a nerd and player falling in love make you want to slam your face against the screen and scream.
Some days, it seems like the only books on Wattpad are player/nerd love stories! You cry in agony and shut off your device. Then quickly turn it back on, because Wattpad is basically your lifeline.
At least, that's how it happened for me! At first, I thought they were so cute. Now, they make me want to chuck my phone at the wall. I won't do that, because, like I said, Wattpad is basically my lifeline.
Just to make it worse, the player is most often the guy and nerd the girl. Can we not have it the other way?!?!
As usual, there are a few player/nerd books that are good, but most just follow the same plot with different characters.
