"All reality is born of contradiction—
night against day, life beside death.
For every force, there is one made to oppose..."
Thus—
the 'Law of Paradox'.
Spoken not from one tongue, but many.
Inscribed in tablets, carved in stone, echoed across ages—now dust, devoured by time.
A decree older than any obeyed by all realms—seen or unseen.
Where one will rise, another must fall—a discord within harmony.
For both to exist... is to unmake a shape no reality was ever meant to hold.
Then, there is another—
the 'Rule of Nature'.
A reality that bows to no reason.
It is not meant to be fair, nor understood.
Where human logic and morality reach—
not to grasp what is, but to chase what ought to be.
It simply is—for both mundane and miracle.
Of all the mysteries, two entities stand apart:
'Anomaly' and 'Etherea'.
To know them is to descend.
Beneath reality, it moves—unseen.
It is not hidden—humans are... Many die never knowing they were blind.
To most, a fable. To the few, a taboo.
Only those who see past the surface know it by its name—'Etherea'.
It touches all things... it roots deepest in humanity.
Where Mind, Spirit, and Volition intertwine—the Soul is formed.
Some Minds shatter the moment they see.
Only the attuned—by birth, trauma, or training—see through all.
...And like all else, it's bound by the Rule of Nature.
So came the 'Anomaly'—untamed powers that no human was meant to reach.
They emerged in countless forms, bending reality into blessings... or burdens.
Only a chosen few inherit such ability—but even one is too much to bear.
Few ever bore one—fewer still wielded both.
Living amongst us... pieces of Nature, Paradoxes made flesh.
Let the gaze rest upon a notorious youth—
Not a king, nor a warlord... Not a healer, or a shepherd.
... But the most human of all—whose name all existence must one day know.
And all creation cries out before him—long before he's earned it.
Haunted by loss, he raises his brother alone—
Unaware the air itself shudders in a dread no mind was ever built to sense... And the scattered marks across his skin, a tale foretold once burned into the skies—and forged by it.
Prophecy, fate, and all that lies beyond converge in his path...
Will he ascend to what was written—or plummet for it entirely?
