New Beginnings Part 2: Calm Before the Storm

"Take care, Uzi." J replied to the purple worker with a smile while Shockwave nodded in acknowledgment. The second Uzi closed the front door as she left, J snapped her head to her boyfriend, her smile turning into a frown as she glared at him.

"Just what the Hell was that?" J immediately demanded. Shockwave looks at J before he begins to clear his desk.

"I do not understand on what you inquire, J."

"Don't bullshit me, Shockwave! The moment Uzi described the humans she saw in her vision, you froze as if you were paralysed by what she said, something I rarely see you do. You KNOW something!"

A soft hum escaped Shockwave as he puts the clipboard and pen away in his desk drawers.

"I do not consider your claim to be a false accusation, J." He replied, admitting to his body language without further argument.

"But you must understand, J. I do not wish to speak about it for the moment for I am uncertain that the humans Uzi speaks of is even who I believe they are. With only the knowledge of one episode, coming to a conclusion at this point at time will be highly illogical."

"In other words, you don't want to jump to any conclusions until you're absolutely sure that the three humans Uzi talked about are who you think they are." The female disassembler summarised with her arms crossed.

"Yes. Until we know for certain, we will just have to wait for when Uzi has a second episode. IF she does, that is."

A tired sigh escaped J as her head gently shook.

"Fine. We'll leave this conversation here for now. Until then, I have to have a meeting with Khan about his doors. As sturdy and effective they were against me and my co-workers, I have strong doubts that they can keeps cybertronians out for very long."

"If you and Khan plan to discuss on improvements to his doors, then maybe my insight could provide some valuable assistance on such a matter."

J grew weary at the offer Shockwave has given.

"Are you sure? Nori will be there. She hates you because Uzi sees you as a dad."

"I understand your concerns, J, but there is no need to worry. Just let the two of us fight it out. One of us will triumph eventually." He assured as he rose from his desk and proceeds to walk out of the apartment.

"Come along, J. We have a meeting we must attend to, do we not?"

J watched Shockwave leaves before letting out a groan and follows him out.

"There is no arguing with you, is there?"

"That would be a logical statement."

Soundwave worked tirelessly with utmost effort on the repairs of the space ship N, J and V arrived in. He was thankful that it wasn't destroyed during the catastrophe that was Cyn's world ending hunger.

Speaking of which, Soundwave has found it most curious on why he insisted on keeping Cyn's ship but given how he tends to tamper with creation, the former TIC wouldn't be surprised he intends to use it in one of his future projects. What said projects are, he didn't know.

Soundwave looks away from the console he linked himself to and towards Doll, fast asleep in on of the chairs with Lazerbeak also asleep on the Russian drone's lap.

Detaching his tentacles from the console, Soundwave proceeds to leave the pod. Jumping onto the snow, he then proceeds to walk out of the spire to scavenge for more parts necessary for the completion on the repairs.
