Haikyuu!!

"Tanaka-kun! Are you busy tomorrow?" (Y/N) called out to the shaved head volleyball player before he went into the gym. 

Tanaka turned back to the girl with a blush, "Uh, just practice but I don't think I have it all day... why?" he asked, trying to not be nervous.

"I don't know.. maybe I just wanna hang out with you, is all. Oh well, have a good time at practice!" she gleamed at him as she walked away. 

Tanaka waved at her then walked in and melted to the floor, "She's so cute.." he mumbled.

"Tanaka-senpai are you okay?" Hinata asked as he held out a hand to the 2nd year student. 

Tanaka waved him off and got up on his own but stayed in a complete dazed as he walked into the locker room to change. All of the freshmen were looking at him weird but the upperclassmen knew exactly what just happened. The girl that Tanaka really likes since freshman year finally likes him back but he has been too chicken to say anything or ask her to be an official couple. 

"What just happened Suga-senpai?" Hinata asked Sugawara. 

Sugawara chuckled and shook his head, "He's just too dense, is all."

- Timeskip to the end of practice-

Tanaka helped finished putting everything with the team and got dressed into his everyday clothing. Tonight, he needed to get home to catch up on homework he had missed a few days ago. He waved off to the guys and walked out the door to only be greeted by a certain (h/c) haired girl, who had a blanket over her and was dressed in her pajamas.

"Tanaka-kun! You're finally done with practice, I was gonna leave just now if you weren't," she exclaimed.

He shook his head with a blush and tried to act manly, "You're gonna get sick, standing in the cold for so long," he commented. 

"I know but I wanted to walk home with you," she said, shyly. 

He grinned at her shyness, "Do you want something to eat?" he asked. Her eyes lightened up and she nodded her head. "Alright, where do you want to eat?" 

"That ramen place near that market, I don't remember the names but I think you know what I am talking about," she mumbled, puffing out her lips. 

"I do, let's go before it gets any later," he nudged her. She smiled and they both began to walk away from the gym, not knowing that a certain orange head freshman was looking at him from the window.

"Okay!" Hinata pulled away from the window, "Whose that girl that Tanaka was talking to?!" he exclaimed. 

Sawamura looked over at the window to get a glimpse of the two who were walking away. He smirked, "She came by again, huh?" then he continued with cleaning up in the gym. 

Hinata deadpanned and grumbled because no one will answer him.

Meanwhile, Tanaka and (Y/N) walked together, admiring the night sky and enjoying each other's company. Tanaka looked over at the girl, who was looking off to the other side seeing the homes that they were passing by, but he frowned, 'Why can't I ask her?' he wondered.

Then (Y/N) cut the silence, "Tanaka, do you still like me?" she asked, not looking at him. She still sounded so optimistic.

"Y-ye-ah," he stuttered, almost inaudible.
