Reyansh Oberoi: Once a firm believer in the power of eternal love, Reyansh's world crumbled when the person he trusted most-his girlfriend of six years-betray...
The sun was shining brightly as I made my way to Manchester University for my first day of classes. The campus was bustling with energy-students hurrying to their classes, others lounging on the grassy lawns, and the occasional group of friends laughing and chatting as they walked together. There was something exhilarating about being in a new place, ready to start a new chapter of my life.

Despite the initial nerves, the day started off well. I managed to navigate my way through the sprawling campus without getting lost, which I considered a win. The classes were engaging, and by mid-morning, I had already made two new friends, Mary and Eva. Both were sweet and friendly, instantly making me feel at ease.
Mary was a bubbly brunette with a contagious laugh, and Eva, with her fiery red hair and quick wit, was always ready with a sarcastic comment or two. The three of us clicked instantly, and by the time lunch rolled around, we were inseparable.
As we headed to the cafeteria, my stomach growled in anticipation. I was starving after the morning's lectures, and I couldn't wait to grab something to eat. The cafeteria was spacious, with large windows letting in the sunlight, and the aroma of food filled the air. Students were scattered around the tables, some deep in conversation, others hunched over laptops.
We grabbed our food and found a table near the window. The conversation flowed easily as we ate, with Mary and Eva filling me in on all the best spots on campus, the professors to avoid, and the ones who were surprisingly cool.
"So, what do you think of the first day so far?" Mary asked as we walked towards the cafeteria.
"It's been great!" I replied, genuinely excited. "The professors seem cool, and the campus is amazing. I'm so glad we met."
Eva nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's going to be a good year. And the cafeteria is supposed to have the best soup in town, so that's a plus."
We all laughed and made our way to the cafeteria. The line wasn't too long, and soon enough, we each had a tray of food. I had opted for the famous soup that Eva mentioned, along with a sandwich.
We found a table near the window, the sun streaming in and warming the chilly autumn day. As we settled down and started chatting, I felt like things were really falling into place. New city, new friends, new opportunities-it was all going perfectly.
But then, just as I was about to take a bite of my sandwich, I felt someone bump into me from behind, hard enough to jostle my tray. The next thing I knew, my bowl of hot soup had tipped over, spilling right onto the person who had bumped into me.
"Oh my God!" I exclaimed, jumping up from my seat in shock. I turned around to see who it was, only to come face-to-face with none other than Alice Knight.
