His family was taken from him many years ago and he was cursed to live the rest of his life alone. Hungry, the man started to prepare a meal in his old house. As he was cutting the vegetables he looked out the window to see a figure open the front gate. As he was not expecting someone this late he was confused.

As he walked towards the front door he noticed no one was in sight. Deciding that he was just imagining things he walked back inside. Back in the kitchen he saw a figure in red standing above the stove. Scared, he reached over to get the knife from the bench.

"Don't," demanded a firm voice.

He stared at the girl as she reached towards the top of her cloak and revealed her face. The girl looked towards him with a cocky smirk and said "remember me?" Shock made its way onto his face as he stared at the young women in front of him with tears in his eyes.

"Elizabeth?" croaked out of his mouth in a shock whisper.

The man stared at the young women in front of him that he used to call his little girl. All he could do was stare and think just how much his little girl looked like the women he once loved. So consumed by the shock he didn't even realise what was in her hand until she dropped the lighter and the whole house went up in flames as a father and daughter left the earth together.
