The blond announcer had turned off the microphone and looked over at his colleague, who happened to also be the professor for the hero course.
"We gotta end this before the principal finds out, we'll be in serious trouble if he knew an Omega was in the arena!" He panicked.
"Relax, do you see the principal around? Besides, I'm kind of intrigued by this. Usually, I would condemn breaking school rules, but you said it yourself. How did he do that?"
The professor looked through a book showing all the students in each of his classes, looking for a picture that matched the face in the arena.
"Midoriya Izuku. Despite being an Omega, he entered into the hero course. According to the letters of recommendation from his high school, he was one of their top students. Not just in academics, but physically too. They knew of his strong quirk but I've never been able to see it in action with how strict this school is on Omegas. Hell, I'm surprised they even let him in to begin with. If this is the only time I get to see my student show how capable he is, I'll allow it."
The blond pouted, "Ugh, fine. But if the principal finds out, I want no part of the blame! You can take all the responsibility!"
"Fine by me. He's my student."
The announcer turned the microphone back on and announced to the audience an update on the situation, despite not knowing enough about it either.
"Alright, everyone! While we're unsure how this occurred, we're going to keep the competition going as is, with the new contestant being Midoriya Izuku replacing Bakugo Katsuki! Despite being an Omega, he shows potential! But can he beat Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu?"
With Izuku given the green light and the crowd cheering the fight on, Katsuki, who was now hidden away within the auditorium, smiled, "Heh, I guess I worried for nothing. Looks like those assholes are giving you a chance after all."
Izuku looked over to see Tetsutetsu still in the ring, his arms turned into steel and in a blocking stance after taking a hit from him.
"Jumping into the ring and hitting a strong punch at me right off the bat!? Not very sportsmanlike!"
"Sorry, but this is much more than a competition to me. I needed to 'wow' the audience, so to speak, so they'd let me continue the fight." Izuku apologized, "After all, they wouldn't just let an Omega fight fairly with an Alpha like this normally."
"Well, if it makes you feel better, I don't give a rat's ass that you're an Omega! Even though everyone else here is making it a big deal all of a sudden, I could care less! Alpha, Omega, Beta, doesn't matter! I'll kick your ass no matter how strong you may think you are!"
"Good. I wouldn't want you to fight me any other way!" Despite the somewhat rudeness in the other's tone, Izuku liked that he was being treated as an equal, more or less.
Once the buzzer had rang again for the two to continue their fight, they both sprinted at the other, Izuku's arms flashing with what could only be described as green lightning while Tetsutetsu hardened his arms into steel.
It wasn't that strategic of a fight as it seemed Tetsutetsu wasn't one for coming up with a game plan, he simply through harsh punches towards Izuku's way, which he was able to easily dodge as it seemed the steel coating caused his movements to slow down, given his arms now weighed more.
