It had been a few weeks since Izuku started his study sessions with Katsuki, and he quickly realized he was spending so much of his time with him that he had been neglecting his other friends.

Sure, school was important and Izuku's top priority was to become a hero in the future, but it was good to keep up a healthy social life as well.

So, instead of having a study lunch with Katsuki, he'd instead meet with his friends again at their usual spot on campus and catch up with them.

He wasn't a terrible friend though, he had been keeping in touch with them through text, he just hadn't been very descriptive of what exactly he had been doing for a while. For all they know, he's just been cooped up in his room studying nonstop, which was half true.

He still hasn't told them about Katsuki. Not that he was ashamed or anything, but knowing his best friend, she'd instantly get the wrong idea the moment she heard the guy was an alpha.

The weather outside was nicer than it had been the past few days, so Izuku planned to wear a T-shirt and shorts, but for some odd reason, his Omega deep within wanted him to wear one of his favorite blue All Might hoodies.

It was odd, his Omega rarely spoke to him unless he was distraught and requested specific items to be comforted or when he was in heat. Well, he certainly wasn't anywhere near his heat due date, and usually when he was stressed, he'd most likely know it, but perhaps there was something he was internally worrying about that he didn't fully realize yet his inner Omega did. Maybe seeing his friends after so long made him feel nervous? It was his only guess.

He didn't continue to ask questions about it, as the more he spent trying to figure it out, the longer his Omega would keep howling until it got what it wanted, so he gave in. Luckily, it was a light hoodie, so it wouldn't be too hot to wear outside.

"It's about time you showed your face around here." The brunette said as Izuku approached the table, acting a bit sassy towards her best friend.

"What's that all about? I thought you'd be happy to see me!" Izuku nervously smiled.

"She is. She just wanted to act upset that you've been publically avoiding us. I, too, am upset at your absence, however, I am more understanding as academics are very important!" The taller man with glasses explained, waving his arms around as he did.

"I see. Well, I'm sorry for not being around. You know how important my hero course is to me. I have to study way harder than anyone else." Izuku said as he sat down next to the brunette.

"Well yeah, but it's always been that way. You never stopped hanging out with us before even when you were being a studyholic. You're not telling us something." She became suspicious.

Izuku's two friends were Ochaco Uraraka and Tenya Iida, both betas who were majoring in completely different fields than him. However, he met them by chance as all three of them share one class together.

"Huh!? W-What are you talking about!? I wouldn't hide anything from you guys!" Izuku argued, sweat running down the side of his face, which only made Ochaco more upset as she caught him lying.

"See? I told you he wouldn't tell us! Even though it's super obvious! How could you lie to us!? I thought we were friends!" Ochaco acted hurt, but deep down, she was having fun figuring out Izuku's dirty little secret.

"You know, Izuku, Iida, and I may be Betas, but we're not so different from Omegas and Alphas. Our noses may not be as sensitive as yours, but we can still recognize scents. I had a feeling you were hiding something from us and I got my answer the moment you walked up to our table. I know what your scent smells like, Izuku... And you smell completely different... You have an alpha's scent all over you!" Ochaco accused him.
