We Need To Talk

"So, who's Kish?" Dark asked. I couldn't talk. Daisuke broke Petal and Shirogane-baka was fixing her. Akasaka-san was taking over the explanation.

"Well, had you ever heard of the Mew Mews before this?" Akasaka-san asked. I nodded. "Well, the two people who created them, fused them with DNA were Ryou Shirogane and Kecheiro Akasaka. Our grandfathers.

"The reason the Mews were created is pretty simple. A race of aliens wanted to take over the earth. They sent three boys to try and take it over while their ruler was awoken. The three boys were the ones the Mews fought most of the time.

"The most involved alien was Kish, who had feelings for Ichigo, the leader of the Mews. She was in love with someone else though. After the ruler, Deep Blue had awoken, Ichigo and the Mews had a huge battle, in which Kish and his friends betrayed Deep Blue.

"After some tear wrenching events, Deep Blue was defeated, and the aliens went back to their planet. We have a truce with them."

"So why is Daisuke fighting us?" I texted him.

"We recently got a message from Kish. His grandson had been kidnapped and brainwashed. When they found him, he was determined to take over the Earth."

"Daisuke said: 'He said you would only have one attack.' You think there's someone telling him what to do?"

"Most likely, Rose." Akasaka-san answered. "You two should go home, you've had a taxing day."

We walked out, Dark mumbling about how no one used the word taxing anymore.

"So..." Dark trailed off. We both knew it was sorta awkward. "Um..."

I rolled my eyes and punched her on the shoulder good naturedly.

"TO MY HOUSE THEN!" Dark shouted, grabbing my hand and dragging me off. I inwardly screamed. HOW THE HECK CAN SHE GO THIS FAST?! 

When she stopped, I was very  dizzy.  Oh, and we were in front of her house.

It wasn't the nicest house I've ever seen, but it was pretty good. The blue paint was chipped and the door had scratches on it. One of the second story windows was broken and had boards nailed over the gap.

Dark stomped up the walkway, dragging me along behind her (I had given up on struggling). She kicked the door open, probably breaking the lock--again. 

"I'M HOOOME!!!" She shouted. 

"SHUT IT DARK!" Her older brother, Kaneki, yelled back from upstairs. 

"AND I BROUGHT ROSE!" Dark added, ignoring him. There was a loud crash!.

'Dark!!' I mouthed at her, eyes wide. She just smirked. You see, her twin brother, Kozo, has a not-so-secret crush on me. Like, glomp-attack-at-random-times-and-a-bit-of-stalking crush. Don't get me wrong, he's cute and all (he has curly blonde hair, and blue eyes. His left ear has been pierced multiple times, and he always wears a leather collar), but he's just always smothering me.

"Hi Rose!" Kozo chirped, popping up besides me. He smiled at me. I awkwardly smiled back and gave a little wave. Dark let go of my hoodie and I fell to the ground, face blank.

"Kozo, we're having a sleepover." Dark announced. Kozo seemed to wilt. The rule for when I'm here is that if/when Dark says that we're having a sleepover, Kozo has to leave us alone. 

I climbed to my feet and brushed my legs off. Dark began to climb the stairs, heading for her room. As I passed Kozo, I gave his shoulder a small pat. 

'You can come by later.' I mouthed. He perked up. 'We'll play a game.'

"Alright Rose!" Kozo chirped, turning and going back to whatever he was doing before. 

"ROSE GET YOUR (censored because I don't feel like typing it) UP HERE!" I rolled my eyes and started up the stairs, ready for the 'sleepover'. 

Gods, this was going to be a long night.
