I will be posting in bulk until I catch up with what I've written. Oh, this one is a sad chapter I think. I've been trying to get a picture to go with but to no avail. Most all chapters won't have pictures though, just so you know. Masiyahan!

P.S. My friend Erdbear made this picture for me and it's fucking awesome! I know her on a site called Quotev so check her out or something!

"Itigil! Mangyaring itigil!" The girl yelled as she collapsed on the ground in front of the blonde man, her troops behind her in a beaten up state. "I surrender! Just please stop tis!" Tears were streaming down her face from pain, a shotgun on the ground by her side.

Seeing the girl like this pained America more than anything. He knew what it felt like to want to become independent, but he knew what was best at the time. He sighed and walked up to the girl. Her troops saw this and pointed their guns to protect their country, as the American had a gun of his own.

What surprised them was when he offered a hand to the country. She blinked with confusion and wiped the tears and dirt from her eyes. After a few seconds, she grabbed the hand. America pulled the girl off the battlefield.

"Look, I know how you feel right now about this." He told her in a soft tone. "I know you want to become independent, but I have to tell you one thing. You're not ready. Your country is weak and beaten. I promise you that if I give you independence now you will dissolve or be taken over again. Please, just let me protect you."

The girl was surprised at the man. The words caught in her throat. She took a deep breath and nodded her head. "Magaling." She said, sealing the deal. The two shook hands and stared each other in the eye. The girl went with America back to his country where she sat in silence, staring into nothing for days on end. Not talking and barely eating.

America noticed this and confronted her. He opened her bedroom door to see her in his rice paper blouse and a blue floral skirt, staring at the wall with a blank expression. He walked in without a word and sat down on the bed next to her. They sat in silence for a few minutes before he broke the silence.

"Trust me, this is for the best." He assured, turning to the girl. She just kept staring at the wall. America sighed and slumped his shoulders. "I got something for you, so you'd have something to play with around here." He took a red model airplane out from behind his back and placed it on the girl's lap. She finally looked at it in shock.

"You don't have to play with it, just keep it though." America said with a smile. "This room is bland as it is." He chuckled and left the room, leaving the girl staring at the model airplane.

The next day he heard a high pitched laugh coming from down the hall. In curiosity, he went down and found the source was the girl's door. He opened it slightly, as so she wouldn't notice. He saw he pretending to fly the plane around the room, laughing and singing.

"Puwede ba kaming magpanggap na eroplano." She sang happily to herself in Tagalog "Sa gabi langit ay tulad ng shooting stars? Talagang ako maaaring gumamit ng isang nais ngayon. Wish ngayon. Wish ngayon. Puwede ba kaming magpanggap na eroplano. Sa gabi langit. Sigurado tulad ng bulalakaw stars? Talagang ako maaaring gumamit ng isang nais ngayon. Wish ngayon. Wish ngayon."

America smiled, watching her sing. Gradually, the girl became less and less distant. Soon, she treated America as a friend, though some people in her country didn't, she knew he was only protecting her from harm's way. She always sang that song though. It was her favorite.
