Emily's POV
"Haha! Like seriously?" I ask Terry. I know you must be wondering why and how Terry got to my room?
I woke up only to hear Terry's voice and for real I needed help to pee.
Well, the fact is am more close to my brother than my parents.
"Terry, is that you?" I called out to him and he entered. After helping me, he sat on my bed gisting me about our neighbour's visit.
His currently telling me about our neighbour's son.
Emmmm... Taylor! Yeah, it's Taylor!
When they came over, I was fast asleep. And even if I were to be awake, I won't dare come out! Am ashamed and shy!!
Now back to the discussion.
"Yeah! He gave her this like-seriously-mum.... Haha! I wanted to laugh at him but I held it back for some reasons. I like him already! We got to talk after dinner; giving our parents some space to talk too". Terry said resting his head on my lap.
Damn it!
My brother is so beautiful. Lol, he deserves it!
He smells good on his perfume. How I wish he wasn't my brother! But all I could do is play with his hair.
"You're funny Terry!" I said still playing with his hair, then he looks up and fit his eyes on mine.
"You look so beautiful sis! And from the way you're playing with my hair. I bet you'll make a good romantic girlfriend". He praised, smiling and it got me blushing.
Is he flattering me?
I hate you! No no no... I don't mean hate tho, I meant the opposite!
"You look cute too! And please stop lying to me, you know I hate lies". I replied him trying hard not to show my blushing face. So I kept a serious look.
"I know you do!" He said rolling his eyes before he continued, "I just wish the world could see your beauty too!" He notice my sad smile and hug me tight. "I love you my little angel!".
Days went by and soon Terry started school... I'd watch Terry from the window going to school with our neighbour's son.
Ehmmm... Taylor, yeah! Taylor the hot guy!
I love watching him through my window most of the time and i ensure he don't sight me.
There was this faithful day, he almost caught me staring but luckily for me Terry closed the window with the curtains.
Crazy me right? His just so cute and his muscular body made him look sexy too, haha!
Terry never leave for school without coming into the room to check on me. Mum is still disturbing me to start school or come out at least.
I know you must be wondering why I hardly talk about my mum or dad coming in to help me.Well, it's because I can do most stuffs by myself. Am use to it!
I'd allow Terry into my room because his my only best friend and through him I get to see the outside world.
I once had a best friend, she's called Bernice. I and Bernice was so close that people started asking if I was her sister; soon she begged her parents to let her live with us and they agreed!
As months went by, she began to display her true colours. I didn't want to take it to heart until I got to notice she was backbiting me.
Don't ask me how I got to know, coz one thing is for sure, nothing can be hidden for long.
As a good friend, I called her and tried to talk sense into her head but she end up showing me a different thing. My parents notice she steals too and now decided to take her back to her parents.
To tell you the truth, i've not heard from her ever since. But her parents do call once in a while.
Her attitude made me trust no one but God.
