Emily's POV
"Mum, why are we relocating? I kinda like it here" I say to mum still on the bed.
"Don't worry baby, you are gonna love the new neighbourhood. We've got neighbours and you can start school again." Mum says, giving me an assuring smile; while arranging my things in a big carton.
I have got to think about things a little. I don't think I can do that, I mean going to school. I hate stares! It makes me feel like, am an alien or something.
Mum is done packing my stuffs and just now Terry walks in.
I love my elder brother a lot, but he is too protective and it makes me wanna fight with him. Haha! I wouldn't dare!!
Terry is too handsome, kind and damn intelligent. If he wasn't my brother, I could have fallen in love a long time ago.
"You okay?" He asks, as he sits me on the wheelchair.
"Yeah!" I answer him with a nod.
He drove me gently through the stairs.
Well we are relocating because of me. The stairs make it difficult for me to go around the house, but dad told me the other day that our new house is comfortable.
Terry pushes me to the car and sits me on a chair, while dad walks back into the house to carry my naked bed.
I guess this is a new beginning for me! I don't know if I can do this! Like seriously, I am beginning to feel an unsure pain in my tummy, I turn to look through the window; only to see mum staring at me. When our eyes met, she smiled and blew a kiss to me. Haha! Mum's cool, sometimes!
After some minutes later, everything was set and right now we are on our way to the new house.
A new environment, new house, new faces, new life too, Shit!
Dad's driving the truck while Terry is driving dad's SUV.
Hours later, we enter a street and just then mum turns to me.
"We are close honey!" She says with a smile. I feel strange! Can't tell if I am excited or scared. Just filled with mixed feelings!
In less than 30 minutes. Dad stopped followed by Terry.
Mum gave out a sigh before opening the door, " Our new home!". I hear her say in a whisper.
I guess this is it, my new start.....
