First time for the last round

"Teachers. That were hired by the father. He never wanted me to be like him,he wanted me to be better. More honourable,more perfect. Knowing who he was and how impressive he was,it was almost an unachievable feat."I say to him,the memories come flooding back in,his stoic expression,his heroic deeds,everything that made him... him.

"He must have been hard on you."

"Yes,but it was all because I was the future. I was all the people,of Ferrez and dare I say it the world had once he was gone. He was hard on me,but I still miss him sometimes."I look down to my hands,my skin that year by year looks more and more like his. But day by day I don't feel like I'll ever fill his shoes,no matter what I do.

"Can't you just call him or.... he's dead isn't he?"I look at Kristian and nearly laugh,"I'm so sorry for your-"

"My loss. No need,it was years ago."a little part of me still needs the sympathy. Silence befalls us yet again as I watch the last bits of the central control come to life.

"Since you told me about your past I- I need to tell you something. As my employer."I respond by sucking in a breath and sitting deeper into my chair. It's too early for this.
"Go ahead."I tell him,pretending that I could care less about what he's about to drop onto me,

"Seven years ago,before I left R&D temporarily,I was in an accident."instinctively,I listen more carefully."It was a bus accident."

"The tower in the sky tragedy?"I ask,more that shocked that someone involved in that level of a freak accident could be talking and living right infront of me. He nods looking away from my gaze,

"It was some sort of fight between the avatars and dark creatures a full on war,waged against the living."his eyes flash with the memory,the trauma it must of implemented upon him. A series of events that no one in the history,present and future of Ferrez will forget.
"A stampede of dark reindeer. The paraded through the city,all though I wasn't where the bus accident happened I was stopping them in the tracks on the opposite side of the city."

"Funny thing is I never saw anything. I never saw them. All I felt was the rumble,Lewis. It was all anyone could feel,like an unavoidable thunder."It takes me back to that specific moment,the ground was shaking nonstop because of the reindeer running from one end to the next. The other avatars were too busy try to stop them from getting to the more vulnerable areas from to notice what the force of their steps had caused.

A skyscraper with structural inequalities had been shaken off its slivers of balance as they ran around and past it. It was at that moment Shane attacked a group of them to stop them from hurting a group of people. It was the last straw. Half of the building folded into two.

The upper end crashing down to the street below. Ferrez had a good public transportation system. Including the buses,but since there's so many of them some of the lanes are actually in the air. Like floating roads that last for a minute or two before heading back to the ground. It was perfect. Back then those lanes didn't disturb anything in the city.

But on the day it happened the building collapsed. Crushing one of the vehicle and folding the other. The impact made another bus float in the air for more than a spilt second before it landed on the ground.

So many people lost their lives that day. The people who were still the building. The people who in the buses. The people who were around to have debris fall right over them. The number of fatalities was unmatched.
Almost no one affected survived it. "I was there in the bus that got folded into two,like this-"he shows me with his hand and I just let him even though I've watched countless angles from multiple tapes of footage taken at the scene. It still haunts me to this day. "Out of the twenty-five people on board only two didn't die or succumb to their injuries. I was one of them,but I had suffered trauma to my head."he touches his head and taps the other side.
