~7~ «Journey to Manali»

The morning of the trip to Manali arrived with a flurry of excitement and last-minute preparations as Danielle forgot to set her alarms early for today. Despite her best efforts, she found herself running late due to the early university timings for the trip. Alden, ever the supportive elder brother, tried to calm her nerves as he hurried her along.

"Don't worry, Dani. You're going to have an amazing time," Alden assured her, adjusting her backpack.

"No Alie, I don't have time to even breath, I can't have my breakfast" she said being a her highest but as being the most stubborn person, Alden held the plates in his hand and started feeding her while she was getting ready for the trip.

"Last, this is last one bite, here, take" Alden said while keeping the spoon inside her, "you are saying this from past 10 mins" She said while being annoyed as she was running late for the trip.

"Alie drive fast na" she said while constantly checking on her phone, while being alll tensed up.
"Don't worry, Danielle, we will reach on time" Alden said while glancing at her and giving her a reassuring smile.

Danielle nodded, her mind racing with thoughts of the adventure ahead. She felt a mix of anticipation and a touch of anxiety, grateful for Alden's presence and support. As they finally reached the university, Alden bid her farewell with a hug and he kissed the top of her head reminding her to stay safe and make the most of the trip.

As Danielle rushed towards the bus, she noticed Ethan approaching from one direction and Kavin from another.

"Hey, baby doll" Ethan approached her while teasing her, when the words which left Ethan reached Kavin, he was in extreme shock about the nickname he just called Danielle by.

To her surprise, both Ethan and Danielle were dressed in similar outfits purely by coincidence. Ethan chuckled when he realized it, while Kavin's expression darkened slightly, as for the nickname and now because of the outfits, though he said nothing.

"Hey, Dani, what are the odds, right?" Ethan grinned, trying to lighten the mood. But deep down he was very happy seeing her similar to him.

"Yeah, it's funny," Danielle replied, though she couldn't ignore the tension emanating from Kavin.
Kavin just stood there without uttering a word which made Danielle realise that he is angry, which was obvious through his eyes said it all.

Before any awkwardness could escalate, the professor in charge of the trip intervened, instructing everyone to pair up and find seats on the bus. There was some playful banter among the friend circle as they decided on their seat arrangements, teasing Ethan and Danielle for their unintentional twinning.

"Is it that you both are giving us hint that you are dating eachother" Mia said while pointing at their dresses in excitement for which Jackson added "if that is so, we all deserve a party for the happiest relationship you guys are having"

Lucas left out his laughter while hitting Kalex's arms "one more time you hit me, I'm gonna show you stars while being awake" he said being dead serious for which everyone laughed included Lucas.

But Kavin was least bothered about it while all he wanted is Danielle's attention all over him and only him.
Stella leaned closer to Kavin while she whispered in his ears "she looks beautiful right?" She said it in a teasing tone.

"Oh Not now Stella, don't start again...please"

"Then stop looking at her like that Kavin, she will get suspicious about you" Stella said while being a little loud but as for the excitement everyone had, no one bothered to hear them.
