Enchanted

Chapter 10

"Did I miss something last night? Did they hook up?" Chelsea asked nobody in particular

"Yupp they were outside for a while. At least an hour." Matt replied smirking

"Okay gross. Nobody is aloud to leave before you guys help me clean up so lets go." I said annoyed grabbing a mop and bucket attempting to get the stains out of the walls. After an hour and a half the place was perfectly clean and spotless. The guys left shortly after that to probably go home and sleep. I think Hunter could sense something was wrong with me but I really didn't feel like getting into it with him about me being jealous. I had this weird dream about him last night. I told him I was falling for him. Oh wait that wasn't a dream?! That really happened? Shit shit shit! I thought remembering bits and pieces of last night. I must of passed out after I confessed my feelings for him and he must of put be to bed. Than hooked up with Adrienne? Great he probably thinks I am a loser or just another girl who has a crush on him.

"Alright here. Take these and than we are going out shopping." Avery said handing me two asprin and water

"Shopping for what?" I asked after downing the pills

"Homecoming dresses duh. The dance is next week." Avery said grabbing my arm and pulling me and Chelsea out the door with her.

We just finished performing our routine at the homecoming pep rally and everybody loved it. We have also been campaigning for me to win homecoming queen but I doubt that is going to happen considering Adrienne has won it every year since her freshman year. Nobody has beaten her ever. All the guys love her because she is really skinny and easy. I just never thought Hunter would be the type of guy to go for her.

Speaking of him he and I have not really spoken that much this week. I have been busy making posters and he has been busy doing whatever Hunter does. I just don't know how to face him now since I told him I am falling for him.

I looked at myself in the mirror one last time before I had to go downstairs and take pictures with all of my friends. I am wearing a long appliques sleeve short hollow back black dress with nude heels. My hair was curled and half up half down. I had on foundation, blush, eyeshadow, top and bottom eyeliner, and lip gloss.

"Woah you clean up nice." Nick said who is actually my date for tonight. 

"Thank you so do you." I said kissing him on the cheek

After sitting through the endless parent pictures we finally arrived at the dance. Everybody was looking at me as I walked in and I suddenly felt really self concious.

"Don't worry. They are just jealous on how beautiful you look." Nick said smiling down warmly at me. The guys went to go get us all some drinks while we mingled with people.

"Somebody can't stop looking at you." Avery said nudging me. I looked up to see Hunter. He looked really hot. His hair was in its usual fashion but he was wearing nice dress shoes, black dress pants, a white button up shirt with a black tie. He smiled as he made his way over to me.

"I thought you didn't do the whole suit and formal wear thing?" I asked fixing his tie for him

"Eh well I have come to the realization that I look sexier all dressed up." he said winking at me

Pretty soon the song Timber came on and we all started dancing.

"Come on don't tell me you don't dance." I said pulling at his hand but he stayed still

"No I hate dancing. No way." he said shaking his head. So I just shrugged and started dancing around him than making him laugh. Things felt like they were getting back to normal.
