"You mean other cities have been rebuild?" Emma tried to took in this new information. "How long ago was that?"

"Five years ago. The first thing Percival Murnau did after taking over America is to start rebuilding those cities."

"I thought Jacob's hollows killed Murnau." Emma frowned. Some people really need to stay dead.

"Apparently he's not as dead as we thought. Now he controls America and Peculiar Security Bureau."

"But P.S.B. operates in Europe, too." Emma said, remembering what John told her about wight's force in England.

"Their agents are everywhere. Probably Caul's idea, I think he would want his Seigneurs to constantly watching each other." Sharon replied.

"What about other parts of the world?" Emma asked.

"Europe and Africa are directly ruled by Caul. We suspect he kept Africa for himself because that's where Abaton is located."

"Library of Souls." Emma said. A familiar dread crept over her.

Sharon nodded. "We think it's somewhere around Central Africa."

Emma shifted uncomfortably on her chair. "If that place still exists, Caul can't be defeated."

"Yes. But even if we do find the library and destroy it, our forces right now is still no match for Caul and his army. So please don't do something stupid like exposing us to our enemy, okay?"

"Wouldn't think of it." Emma waved at the map. "What about Asia?"

"Asia and Australia are now Valeria Gullveig's The Nation of Peculiar Asia." Sharon started.

"Who is she?" Emma asked.

"Caul's ymbryne friend. Some say they attended Miss Avocet's Ymbryne Academy together, but no one alive on our side can confirm that."

"I thought Caul hates ymbrynes?" Emma interrupted.

"Clearly not this one. He made her the ruler of Asia and head of Ministry of Temporal Affairs. They even have a department in that ministry consists of only ymbrynes. Although Miss Bittern refuse to call them ymbrynes. She always say those traitors don't deserve that title."

"Why would Caul need ymbrynes if he already controls Library of Souls? Shouldn't Caul be able to control time himself with ymbryne's Suul?"

"Where an ymbryne's Suul goes after she dies is a secret guarded by the ymbryne council for centuries. Since all the members of said council are dead, no one knows now." Sharon explained, "But there are rumors that their Suuls don't go to Abaton. Some say they go to a nest in a hidden loop, others say their souls just roam the world until the next ymbryne needs it. It's all just guesswork. Nobody really knows. But there's a pretty good chance Caul still don't have access to Ymbryne's Suul."

Emma took a moment to let it sink in. If they could find out where the ymbrynes' souls were kept and pick out the most powerful one...

A giant that controls time.

Emma shook her head. No, she thought, I'm starting to sound like wights.

She turned her attention back to the map. "What about your forces? Patrick Sceawigend said you have normal allies."

"We have allies everywhere, both normal and peculiar. Although most of them don't have military power like ours, they will be fast to arm though. Our organization was founded by the surviving ymbrynes and ymbryne-in-training after Caul defeated the three clans. We have more loops like this all over the world."
