As Axel was walking home from class, his ears filled with music. He could do nothing but think of the assignment he had just received, his final assignment for the semester. A work that showed Axels abilities. He thought how he could make it and what it would include.

His home wasn't large but it was a mid sized apartment his parents had bought him when he moved out. When he got home he threw his and bag and went right to his workshop, sitting in the table and immediately sketching out what was on his mind. He didn't even take off his shoes.

Axel worked and drew for hours into the night, he almost fell asleep at his desk only to wake himself again when a loud song came on his playlist. Finally, the music didn't hold him back anymore and Axel slept on his desk. Music still blasting from his phone.

Axel totally forgot his boyfriend still had not come back from his parents house. So when the phone rang he was surprised. Even more by the little creature standing on it.

The phone rang, the awkward silence between the.. Axel, still drowsy couldn't make out what he was seeing wait is- is that a pen..? When suddenly, another animate object, a.. star? Star sticker? Jumped on the phone aiming a pin at Axel. "GET AWAY!"

"What the fuck?" Axel said in a hushed tone. "run Run RUN!" The star screamed at the pen pulling it by its thin, black hand. "Wait! I'm going to hurt you!" Axel exclaimed hoping they would turn back and explain, but they didn't. Axel, by reflex, grabbed the small stars leg. He pulled it up at examined it closely, it was a plastic star sticker he had bought a few weeks earlier for a project he totally forgot about but it had a face? And- limbs? And it was shaking? He held the creature in his palms curled up above it. The tiny thing was frightened, it had shuffled itself to the very back of axels hands.

Then the phone rang again, his boyfriend. Still holding the star in one hand Axel answered the phone, not taking his eyes off the creature for a second. "Hi, I won't be back till tomorrow noon, we ended up drinking so I'm not able to drive right now." Axels boyfriend, Tom, said. "Uhm- ok.. good night." Axel responded quickly, hanging up the phone before Tom had time to respond.

Now it was just the two of them, the unexplained creature and the confused human staring at each other in quiet. And suddenly, pop! The limbs and face of the star disappeared into? Nothing? "Huh?" Axel flipped the sticker around as if it were a coin "no, I already saw you. That won't work." No response "do that again, talk, please?" No response "okay.. I'm just curious I promise I won't hurt you, both." No response.

Axel put the plastic piece down on the table. "I'm sorry if I frightened you little guy, hope you'll trust me enough to chat a little. I promise I won't do anything."

No response.

Axel went to bed as normal thinking the events over in his head. What was this thing? It wasn't like that when he brought it, right? Are there more of it? Them? Where? How? What?

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Axel, in his workshop, "what if we stay?" The star asked. "What-? Luma? Are you insane? Did you see how it grabbed you? That was pure rage. What if we get caught again?" The pen answered. "Yes, but, it was my fault, it was stupid of us to go like that. I know it was too loud for me and I complained but we shouldnt have assumed he wasn't going to wake up. He also let me go, no violence, no force. Maybe he's not like the others? Maybe not all of them are bad. We- I'm- I'm going to talk to it. Tomorrow."

"ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE?" The pen shouted, it wasn't like earlier, she had that tone that she had whenever she scolded Luma for being irresponsible. Felicia had been there for much longer than Luma, she knew Axel better but still, Luma couldn't help but doubt her at times. She didn't seem to trust anyone, let alone humans.

"I guess I am, I am insane." Luma stated as he started walking away from Felicia "You will die. and not only that but you will be putting all of us in danger." She called to Luma before he finally went out of her sight.

Felicia had taught Luma the base layout of the house. At night objects roamed mostly at the workshop always weary of the sounds and surroundings, it was their only way of knowing whether Axel or Tom were awake. So when Axel fell asleep listening to loud music it warped  the objects senses. Since Luma is the newest resident he was sent to turn it off, along with Felicia to guide him.

Too bad how that ended.

Luma made his way to Axels bedroom. Standing beneath the colossal bed where Axel lay, looking up to see his unconscious body.

Luma began climbing the table beside Axels' bed finally setting in a small ceramic dish on the table. Slowly, himself, falling asleep, limbs out and everything.

As morning time rolled around Luma woke up by the loud panting overhead. As he slowly opened his eyes and looked up he saw- Axel? Watching over him.

"Oh! Uh. Hi little guy? You awake?" Axel shuffled back on his bed, as to not startle Luma. Luma opened his mouth to speak but couldn't let out any words, was he scared? Was he just surprised? A simple "hi" was all he could let out.

"I suppose you're not scared of me anymore. I hope we can be friends." Axel broke the silence. "Oh what the fuck am I saying.. I sound so fake.. let me start over. I think, you are not scared of me anymore. I am a little, not scared but uh... confused?"

Luma began "I'm sorry, I should have introduced myself." Axel knew Luma could talk but still was taken aback by the sudden sound emerging from the thin plastic. "Luma." He said as he reached his hand out. Axel wasn't fully sure how to react, he poked out his pinky and moved it close to Luma introducing him self as well "Ax-" Luma interrupted, "Axel. I know." "Oh."

Axel looked around as if he was searching for more creatures like Luma. "Are there more of you?" Axel asked curiously, "no, there aren't. Just me and her." Luma answered. A lie, he knew how much trouble he would be in if he disclosed the existence of the others.

"Do- do you need anything?" Axel said looking down at the little creature looking extremely coldly at him. "I need you to not look for us, don't expect me to come back, the only time we will talk or meet will be at my consent. I'm sorry if I'm being harsh, I not ex-" Luma was cut off "I'm sorry, I probably shouldn't know of you, I'm sorry if this puts you in danger. I promise to not bother you." Axel may have said those things but he was dying inside of curiosity, how, what? Was this thing. How is it even alive? "Thank you, I really truly appreciate it."

Luma turned back and walked over to the edge of the table, looking down, honestly a bit scared to jump. He wouldn't get hurt from jumping but still it was scary. "Need a little help?" Luma was taken aback by the question, stumbling back a little. "No, thank you." And took a little breath in and jumped.

I'm not sure if I'll write more of this since I want to do some other stuff but if you like it make sure to tell me and maybe I'll make more :3
