My Dearest,
I wish I could tell how much I have missed you,
How my heart burns with longing for you.
But you've moved on now, and found a happiness truly new,
And I can't bear to disrupt your love because, it's true.
In all my life, I've never loved anyone like I have loved you,
The bottom of my feelings feels so strong and true.
Just because I don't reach out and talk to you doesn't mean I've moved on,
I'm still burning and grappling with the pain because you were gone.
I'm left wondering what to do, how to cope,
With this burning scar, this weight of chance of hope.
But I'll hold onto the memories, love them like a crystal clear,
And keep loving you, even if you're no longer near.
