Dear Love,
Maybe the universe was right, lol,
Maybe we don't belong together, after all.
Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow,
Maybe not soon, maybe never, only sorrow.
But...
Maybe we can rewrite the stars and the multiverse too,
So that maybe the universe was wrong about the love of me and you.
Maybe we do belong together, maybe today,
Maybe tomorrow, maybe soon, and forever we'll stay.
Perhaps it's the universe's test, a trial of time,
To see if our love can withstand every climb.
Maybe we're meant to fight against the odds,
To prove that our love is stronger than the gods.
So let's rewrite the bound of rules and, rewrite our own fate,
And show the universe that's it's never too late.
For maybe, just maybe, all with one strong strike,
Our love will conquer, and together we'll thrive.
