The girls all giggle to themselves and Samrat just heaves a soft, inaudible sigh. Tanvi pretends she's not hearing a thing and begins tending to the first aircraft. Who's she kidding? It's really hard to ignore what's happening. There are twelve more aircrafts to check and...
She is offended deeply by the girls' remarks and Samrat's behaviour, primarily because her friendship with Samrat was also insulted. Personal, nonverbal assault aside, how can Samrat let this happen? Sure, he could have his reasons. But this is unacceptable.
Samrat, meanwhile, inwardly feels guilty. He feels like he's misusing the honour Harjot bestowed upon him and also betraying her trust in a way. It's an awful feeling, yet he has to carry on this way for a month. So Tanvi sees his worst side. So she knows...
