Carlos Sainz

A day to remember

Carlos Sainz leaned against the kitchen counter, a wide smile on his face as he watched his wife, Maria, flipping pancakes on the stove. The smell of maple syrup filled the air, mingling with the sound of their daughter, Arabella, giggling as she played with her toy cars on the floor.

"Looks like we've got a little racer on our hands," Carlos said, his voice filled with pride as he ruffled Arabella's hair.

Maria laughed, her eyes sparkling with affection as she glanced over at her husband. "She definitely takes after her father."

Carlos grinned, leaning in to steal a quick kiss from Maria before turning his attention back to their daughter. "Hey, Arabella, do you want to help Daddy wash his car later?"

Arabella's eyes lit up with excitement, her chubby cheeks dimpling with delight. "Yes, Daddy! Wash car!"

Maria smiled fondly at the exchange, feeling her heart swell with love for her family. She had never imagined she would marry a formula one driver let alone one as talented as Carlos, but he had stolen her heart from the moment they met, and Maria wouldn't have it any other way.

After breakfast, Carlos and Arabella headed out to the garage, Maria trailing behind with a basket of soapy water and sponges. Together, they worked as a team, Carlos showing Arabella how to scrub the wheels while Maria helped her reach the higher parts of the car.

As they worked, Carlos couldn't help but marvel at the sight of his daughter, her face scrunched up in concentration as she carefully scrubbed the car. She was a natural, just like her mother, and he felt a surge of gratitude for the life they had built together.

Later that afternoon, as they sat down for lunch together, Carlos couldn't help but feel like the luckiest man in the world. He had a loving wife, a beautiful daughter, and a career that he was passionate about. Life was good, and he knew that as long as he had his perfect little family by his side, he could conquer anything that came his way.

As they tucked Arabella into bed that night, Carlos pressed a kiss to her forehead, feeling a swell of love in his chest. "Goodnight, princess. Daddy loves you."

Arabella yawned, her eyelids drooping with sleep as she snuggled into her pillow. "Love you too, Daddy."

Carlos lingered in the doorway, watching as his daughter drifted off to sleep, feeling grateful for the love that filled their home. As he turned to leave, he knew that no matter what the future held, as long as he had Maria and Arabella by his side, he had already won the greatest race of all – the race of life.

Authors note: so I know that was quite soppy but I thought it was kind of cute how soft Carlos was with his daughter. He'd be such a good girl dad, he's already such a sweetheart xx
