"Is it okay?" Lisa moved along Jennie's gaze. He insisted on getting an answer to his question.
Jennie felt that her cheeks were getting warm. Yet, Lisa did not know how to restrain himself. She became angry and glared at him. She said annoyingly, "Shut up! You're bleeding, how could you still be in the mood to talk about all this?! How did you come here from the hospital?"
After Jennie finished asking, Lisa did not answer her even after taking him a long while. She felt her entire body boil with rage. She looked up and blurted out, "Say something, are you mute?!"
"You just asked me to shut up," Lisa said innocently.
Jennie felt speechless.
Looking at the furious Jennie who had just been choked by his words, there was a glimmer of a smile in Lisa's eyes.. He said, as if giving mercy to her, "Secretary Xia fetched me."
"Secretary Xia?" Jennie's eyes sparkled. "Where is he? Call him now!"
After Jennie finished speaking, Lisa did not move. She was impatient and simply reached out for his body.
Lisa froze. But, he did not stop her. He let her manhandle him.
It was only after some time that Jennie finally took out his phone from his shirt pocket. She found Xia Zhetao's contact and dialed the number.

Her call was answered very soon. Jennie sensed Xia Zhetao's excitement at the end of the line, "President Manoban, have you found the former Mrs. President?!"
Jennie did not bother to correct the way Xia Zhetao had addressed her, she snapped in, "It's me. Where are you now? Your president's wound has torn open again, and he needs to be sent to the hospital. Okay, we're now at..."
Lisa stood at the side, quietly watching Jennie explain the situation to Xia Zhetao. She kept urging him to rush over to them. She probably did not even realize how nervous she looked at that moment.
The hint of a smile in Lisa's eyes grew increasingly profound. He knew that Jennie was worried about him. Knowing this alone was sufficient.
Xia Zhetao was not far away. The moment Jennie asked him to come over, he immediately reached them.
When Xia Zhetao saw the open wound on Lisa's arm, his expression looked strange. However, he soon put on another look, and he exclaimed, "President Manoban, why is your wound dehisced and bleeding profusely?! You have to go to the hospital now!"
At that moment, Jennie was fully focused on Lisa's arm. She did not realize the strange phenomenon at all.
When they entered the car, Lisa spotted something. He somehow saw the back of a familiar figure entering the restaurant anxiously, the same restaurant where he had dragged Jennie out.
Lisa's eyes sparkled. He glared at Xia Zhetao. Xia Zhetao felt a chill crept behind his back. When he turned around, he met his president's murderous glance.
Lisa immediately hinted at him by subconsciously looking in that direction. When Xia Zhetao captured a clearer sight of the young man pushing the entrance door and entered the restaurant, he instantly knew what was going on.

He wittily took out his mobile. While Jennie was entering the car, he quickly typed a short message and sent it out within a few seconds.
Meanwhile, Jennie was distracted by Lisa's words and did not notice the brief exchange between the two. She did not know that the moment the car started to move, a certain one in her office had successfully received the short message.
Irene's expression changed when she read the short message. She immediately rose and said, "Solar, I have some urgent matter, so I need to take a trip back home. Please help me to inform Secretary Xiao that I'll be back in the evening."
"Oh, okay," Solar spoke the two words just in time before the young lady opposite her disappeared in a flash.
Looking at the office that went empty within half an hour except herself, Solar furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. She wondered what was wrong with today that everyone was going out.
She felt bored inside the office all alone. She also wished to go out and take a stroll. Sobs...
It was within Xia Zhetao's expectations that Jennie would personally send Lisa out. However, he never thought once the two got in the car, they started a cold war out of nowhere behind the car seat.
They had not spoken to each other since the beginning. The atmosphere was extremely awkward. Therefore, the mighty secretary Xia who was driving the car felt extremely pressured.
Jennie had basically handled Lisa's wound before they got in the car. Fortunately, it had stopped bleeding now.
However, a dehisced wound should not be taken lightly. Lisa was so tortured that his face looked more troubled compared to when he got hit by the gunshot previously.
