My babies, I'm feeling a tad better. I'll redo the exam tomorrow.

This chapter took ages to pen down. Creativity's on a low ebb. The downside of starting with the ending is filling in the gaps. Yet, I hope I've managed, and I trust you'll aptly translate the significance of family to Theodora. And how her relationships shape up amidst the chaos. Good reading, kisses

You're a doll, you are flawless

But I just can't wait for love to destroy us

I just can't wait for love

Your only flaw, you are flawless

But I just can't wait for love to destroy us

I just can't wait for love

The station bustled with activity as we finally disembarked. The house monitors, as customary, were guiding the new students. Amidst the crowd, I immediately spotted my mum.

She waved at me with a grin so wide, I could barely see her sparkling eyes. Her long auburn and grayish curls were pinned up in an elegant bun, revealing her peculiar crooked ears.

"Oh, my dear!" she exclaimed, pulling me into a warm embrace as soon as I stepped off the train. I buried my face in her fur coat, immediately enveloped by the familiar scent of oranges and flowers.

"I missed you so much, Mum."

"I missed you too, darling."

My trunk and owl were placed on the trolley Mum had fetched from the corner. Then, arm in arm, we made our way through the crowd towards the barrier.

Before crossing it, I spotted Andromeda waving at me from the corner of my eye. I tried to wave back, but I'm not sure if she saw. There was a woman between her, Bellatrix, and Narcissa. The woman stood out among them, with blond hair as bright as Narcissa's.

In fact, I could swear the woman cloned herself when she gave birth to Narcissa in this world. That would explain her nose twist in pure disgust, looking at everyone around as if they were inferior beings to her.

She turned in my direction when she noticed Andromeda trying to look through the crowd. But Mum and I were already on our way to cross the barrier.

Muggles bustled back and forth. I held onto Mum's arm tighter to not lose track and followed her to the back of the station.

Mum looked around before pulling out her wand and enchanting my trunk. I fetched my owl to help, and as soon as I grabbed her gloved hand again, I felt a tug pulling at my navel.

We Apparated directly onto the grounds of Potter Manor.

As I opened my eyes, I caught sight of the cliff, grabbed my trunk from Mum's hands, and rushed out of the gate.

"Careful, Theodora!" Mum shouted, but I wasn't listening anymore. I ran up the stairs, my trunk banging behind me, my owl grumbling at every moment, her wings flapping furiously against the cage.
