Author's POV

The bustling city streets were a blur of color and sound as Melody walked hand-in-hand with S.Coups. Though her physical health had significantly improved, the fog of amnesia still clung to her, leaving her with a constant sense of unease.

Suddenly, a figure emerged from the crowd, his face etched with a mixture of shock and disbelief. It was Wonwoo.

Time seemed to stand still as their eyes met. Melody felt a jolt, a prickling sensation at the back of her mind, but the image remained stubbornly out of reach.

Wonwoo, his voice thick with emotion, stammered out her name. "Melody?"

S.Coups, his eyes blazing with protectiveness, stepped forward, placing himself between them. "Leave her alone, Wonwoo."

"But I need to talk to her," Wonwoo pleaded, his voice laced with desperation.

"There's nothing left to say," S.Coups retorted, his voice firm. "Not now. Not when she's still recovering."

The tension crackled in the air, a storm brewing beneath the surface. Wonwoo, driven by a desperate need to apologize, lunged forward. S.Coups reacted instinctively, shoving him back with a force that sent Wonwoo stumbling.

The unexpected physical confrontation triggered a surge of panic within Melody. The raw emotions, the confusion, the overwhelming sense of violation – it all came flooding back in a torrent of fragmented memories.

The accident, the blinding flash, the searing pain... and then, a face contorted in guilt, the face of the man she loved, the man who had betrayed her.

Images flickered before her eyes, a kaleidoscope of betrayal and heartbreak. The world spun, the sounds of the city fading into a deafening roar.

"Wonwoo..." she whispered, her voice trembling, her hand flying to her chest as the panic attack intensified.

S.Coups, his face etched with concern, rushed to her side, gathering her into his arms. He held her close, whispering soothing words as she struggled to regain her breath.

Wonwoo, watching from a distance, was consumed by a wave of remorse. The sight of Melody's panic, a direct consequence of his actions, ripped his heart apart. He had shattered her world, and now, the damage he had inflicted was becoming horrifyingly clear.

As the paramedics arrived, S.Coups glared at Wonwoo, his eyes burning with a silent fury. The harmony they had once shared, the fragile trust they had built, was now shattered beyond repair.

In the sterile confines of the hospital room, Melody lay pale and trembling, the aftershocks of the panic attack slowly subsiding. Though the memories were still fragmented, the emotional scars were undeniable.

S.Coups sat by her side, his hand gently holding hers. He knew the road to recovery would be even more arduous now, the path forever marked by the collision of their pasts.

As for Wonwoo, he was left standing outside, a solitary figure haunted by the consequences of his actions. The melody of his life, once a hopeful symphony, now played a discordant dirge, a constant reminder of the harmony he had so carelessly destroyed.

The hospital room was silent, the only sound the rhythmic beeping of the heart monitor. Melody lay pale and exhausted, the aftershocks of the panic attack slowly subsiding. S.Coups sat by her side, his hand gently holding hers, his eyes filled with concern.

"Melody," he whispered, his voice barely above a murmur. "What happened? What do you remember?"

Melody took a deep breath, her voice shaky but resolute. "The accident... it all came back in flashes. The screeching tires, the blinding flash... and then..."

She paused, her eyes widening in horror as the final piece clicked into place. "Wonwoo... and her."

The name tumbled out of her lips, a bitter accusation hanging heavy in the air. The image of Wonwoo, his face contorted in guilt, merged with the fleeting memory of another woman, a model he had been working with, the woman he had been with when the accident happened.

The betrayal, the raw pain of seeing them together, flooded back with a tidal wave of emotion. Tears welled up in her eyes, spilling over and tracing hot tracks down her cheeks.

S.Coups, his heart clenching with understanding, pulled her into a comforting embrace. He knew the truth would be a painful revelation, but the dam had finally broken, and the memories, however fragmented, were starting to resurface.

"It's okay, Melody," he murmured, his voice a soothing balm against the storm raging within her. "It's okay to feel this. We'll get through this together."

Melody clung to him, the weight of the betrayal a crushing burden. The man she loved, the man she had trusted with her heart, had shattered her world in the most unimaginable way.

As the days turned into weeks, Melody grappled with the fractured memories, the emotional scars a constant reminder of the pain Wonwoo had inflicted. S.Coups remained a pillar of support, his unwavering presence a source of strength in the face of her turmoil.

One evening, as the city lights twinkled outside their window, Melody turned to S.Coups, a question burning in her eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me it was Wonwoo who was with me during the accident?" she asked, her voice laced with a mixture of sadness and anger.

S.Coups hesitated, the weight of his decision heavy on his shoulders. "I knew the truth would be a lot to handle," he admitted. "I didn't want to overwhelm you while you were still recovering."

Melody nodded, a tear rolling down her cheek. "But I deserve to know the whole truth, don't I?"

S.Coups reached out, his hand gently wiping away her tear. "Yes, you do," he said, his voice filled with empathy. "And I'll be here with you every step of the way, as you confront the past and rebuild your life."

The road to recovery was long and arduous, filled with the thorns of betrayal and the lingering shadows of the past. But Melody, with S.Coups by her side, was finally ready to face the truth, to confront the man who had shattered her world, and to begin the long journey of piecing her life back together, note by broken note.
