Without waiting for a response Elijah ripped Klaus's heart out.

I could feel my vision start to darken and my body went cold again, although I stopped using the power.

"I need to get this thing out of me," I said. "Now."

"All you have to do is get your body to reject the power," Elijah said.

I nodded, not sure I understood what he meant. I focused on imagining that the power was flowing out of me, hoping that it would do something.

It did.

I shot back and hit the ground, landing on my back.

I felt a burning sensation flow through me and suddenly I couldn't breathe, hear or see.

Suddenly it all stopped and I was staring up at the star covered sky.

"Well that was random," I said.

"Are you okay?" Stefan asked, crouching beside me, Damon on his other side.

"I'm just dandy," I said.

I sat up and looked around. Sitting infront of me was the Necromancer crystal.

"I'm gunna stay away from you from now on," I said, eyeing it.

I got to my feet and realised that we had actually killed Klaus.

"Oh yeah," I said. "That's what I thought. Don't mess with me or you'll get screwed up."

"Is she talking to a dead body?" Stefan asked Damon.

"Yeah, I think she is," Damon said.

"Maybe she really is crazy," Stefan said.

I turned around and looked at him.

"When did you figure that one out?" I asked.

"I'll get rid of the body," Elijah said.

"Thank you," I said. "For helping us."

"It had to be done," Elijah said.

I nodded and he and Klaus's body disappeared.

"I better go tell Elena that Klaus is dead," Stefan said before he walked inside.

"I should get going," Katherine said.

"Thanks for helping out today," I said.

She nodded and disappeared.

"Well this is awkward," Damon said.

"How?" I asked.

"There's no big life-threatening drama going on in our lives right now," he said.

"Hmm," I said. "Your right. This is awkward."

"C'mon, let's go inside," Damon said.

As I followed him throuh the door, I thought of something.

"Ooh!" I said. "There's still John Gilbert."

Damon snorted. "I'd like to see him try and kill me."

"Speaking of," I said. "I am not staying home tonight. I'm going to the Grill."

Damon turned and stared at me. "How does that have anything to do with what we were just talking about?"

"It doesn't," I said.

He went to say something but stopped. "You know what? Never mind."

About an hour later, everyone was squished into a booth at the Grill.

"Guys!" Carline said. "I have an announcement!"

Everyone looked up at her.

"Our lives have been quite stressful lately, worrying about peoples live and the world ending and all of that, so it's time we had a day of relaxation," she said.

"Please don't tell me we're all going to a beauty salon," Damon said.

I laughed.

Caroline death glared him.

"Shut up and let me finish," she said. "We're all going to the beach for the day."

"The beach?" Jeremy asked.

"Yes," she said. "You can't stay inside and be an antisocial little emo your whole life, so you're coming."

"Shot gun front seat of Damon's car!" I shouted.

"Damn it!" Lexi muttered.

"When are we doing this?" Elena asked.

"Tomorrow," Caroline said.

I grinned, thankful that I might just hae a normal day tomorrow.
