Today you left; today I had to let you go, today I've fallen apart more then I ever have...

Oh how my heart feels utterly distraught...

Tonight not even your burning rays are enough to light me up for the earth below...

And tomorrow I'll have to explain why I couldn't shine for the people around on this lonely night...

And instead of falling to my knees and screaming at them to revenge the burns you left with your blazing roar of "love"...

I'll simply wipe away my tears and say... "it was my fault" not because it was but because I'd take all the hate in this world if it meant I could save you from pain and blame, I'll stand in front of you taking each hit, each burn, each "i told you so" until the last of the mountains on my moon have fallen into the stars, I'll be your shield even when I'm not yours...

For here I'll wait for you till the day after eternity...
