the past few days have been... challenging for ava to put it simply. through the texts she figures out what happened the night of the party and now she tried her best to avoid regina george at all costs. it wasn't hard since the latter had a 'reputation' to hold

on the briight side, jonathan and darcy finally had a conversation and the trio was back together. ava still doen't know what went down but she was just happy that things were back to normal.

not exactly but it was close enough

the three sat at the table at cafeteria like they used to

"yeah i was thinking on my ankle so it wouldn't be too visible" jonathan informed talking about a tattoo the three planned to get together

"they're pretty damn expensive you know" darcy chuckled "i'd get it on my wrist, it'll look cute"

"yeah, ribs for me" ava chuckled "also i am planning to teach some kids in the neighbourhood how to play guitar, easy money"

"are you gonna ghost them too?" a voice scoffed behind her

"i'll get going" ava smiled at her friends before she sprinted out of the cafeteria, regina followed close behind "what do you want" ava asked out of breath from walking fast

regina instead of answering grabbed the girl's wrist and pulled her into a small room. the two had to press together to fit in the room

"it's a janitorial closet, regina" ava looked around in the tight space

"and you're someone who was supposed to call me back"

"why? we didn't hook up or anything and honestly i don't even remember what went down between us that night" she lied, as time went on like a dream the memories came back through small things or events she witnessed

"you don't?" regina was taken aback by her responce "well you told me how obsessed you were with me"

"bullshit" ava scoffed trying to play the situation off

"maybe this'll help" regina put her hand behind the girl's head to not let her move and leaned in

it all felt like it happened in a split second to ava when her lips regina's tasting the strawberry lipgloss she always wore. regina's hand buried in ava's hair as their eyes closed and ava's body froze

the door to the closet suddenly opened causing the two to pull away reluctantly to find a very confused aaron standing there in the hall alone.

aaron sprinted out of the empty hallway

"no, aaron" ava called out as she ran out behind him "it's not what it looks like" she explained chasing him

"what?" aaron finally turned to face the girl when two were out of the school "you two weren't making out? cuz i sure as hell saw my old buddy and my now girlfriend making out"

"let me explain" she said trying to reason with him

"go ahead" he crossed his arms to intimidate her

"we weren't making out my uh" she tried looking for an excuse "my breath smelled bad" she blurted out

"huh" aaron uttered before ava started panicking which caused him to laugh hysterically

"bro? she called out as he laughed "i didn't know it'd take such a toll on you-"

"chill" he chuckled "i know" he smiled down at her

"what"

"i know you like her and i know she does too" he admitted "for god's sake all she talkes about is you, not all good stuff, but the girl's obsessed"
