I tried my best to ignore Russo for the whole length of the photoshoot and I would dare to say I did a pretty good job, opposite to him, who couldn't keep his eyes away from me throughout the whole thing. Especially when I had that red piece on, I knew he liked red the best.

If I put my best job today it was only to try and make him lose his shit, usually, I don't go out of my way for a simple lingerie advertisement but it was worth the effort this time. Only seeing him suffer from that little corner he hid himself in made everything worth it. The collection better sell out fast though. I did some of my greatest work.

"I'm going to get ready and then I'm hitting the hotel bar, don't feel like going clubbing," I tell Russo as we both get inside the room.

He hasn't said a word to me since we left the photo shoot. After I told him I didn't care about any explanation he was thinking of giving me. I heard everything that needed to be heard yesterday night.

"Okay, I will go down with you but stay at a certain distance, give you space." It almost looks as if he were biting his tongue as if he were dying to say something else but kept himself from doing so.

Which is exactly what I wanted. I'm going to push his buttons until he explodes. I want to see him feel something else than what he is to show. To see the real him, see what's behind that cold professional facade he always carries along with him.

"Do whatever you want, I couldn't care less," I say disappearing into my room and closing the door with full force.

Fixing my tight-slicked ponytail I then apply more lipgloss and smile at my reflection in the mirror. I decided to go all out even if I'm only going to the hotel bar because you never know who you could come across in LA and I must admit I look damn hot. Packing this red long satin dress was a great idea.

Spraying some more perfume I get out of my room and meet Miles at the door. "I'm ready, sorry to make you wait." I'm not sorry, in fact, I took longer than usual just to piss him off but he doesn't have to know that.

"No worries." He mutters looking me up and down at the same time I look at him.

He is wearing a black shirt instead of his usual white one, and he apparently decided to ditch the suit jacket tonight. Something I wish he hadn't done, his arms and back look way too good in only a form-fitting shirt. It's distracting, and dangerous.

Focus.

"New shoes?" I smirk, noticing his obviously new black leather dress shoes.

"Not funny." He shakes his head, looking at me with disappointment.

"Maybe not for you." I shrug and get out of the hotel room, following the path to the elevator. "I heard someone at the reception say that there's a bar up at the rooftop that's apparently only for the guests, and that it has an amazing view of the ocean."
